We are grateful that you have reached out with your concerns, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we must address the core issue here: the use of drugs and the anxiety stemming from it. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." Using drugs is not glorifying to God and can lead to spiritual and physical harm. We rebuke this practice and encourage you to seek help to overcome this habit.
The anxiety you feel about losing consciousness is a warning sign that should not be ignored. It is a mercy from God, warning you to turn away from this dangerous path. As it says in Proverbs 3:7-8, "Don't be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."
Regarding the concern about someone asking for your inheritance and soul, and you doing the same to another, this is a serious matter. It seems there may have been involvement in spiritual practices that are not from God. The Bible is clear that we should not engage in sorcery, witchcraft, or any form of spiritual manipulation. In Galatians 5:19-21, sorcery is listed among the works of the flesh, and those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
We must also address the fact that you mentioned Jesus, which is good, but we want to ensure you understand the power in His name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ and His redeeming work on the cross. The basic salvation by grace through faith is an act of God as it says in Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with anxiety and the effects of drug use. Lord, we ask that You forgive them for any involvement in practices not of You, and that You grant them complete deliverance and healing. Help them to turn away from drug use and turn towards You, the Giver of life. We ask that You fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, and that You guide them in the path everlasting. We pray that they will fully trust in Jesus Christ and His redeeming work, and that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to overcome these challenges. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
