We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and desire confidence, a comfortable environment, and success in your tasks. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work and emotions. However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We are instructed to pray in Jesus' name. For example, John 14:13 WEB says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
For your anxiety, we encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Jesus, because he cares for you. This is shown in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Concerning your confidence, recall that your adequacy comes from God. As stated in 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 WEB, "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God; who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
For a comfortable working environment, we pray that God will help you and your colleagues to live in harmony with one another. As it says in Psalm 133:1 WEB, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" Also, do your best to respect others and fulfill your tasks as unto the Lord, knowing that your reward comes from Him. Remember Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing anxiety at work. We cast all these anxieties on you, Lord, for you care for us. We pray for confidence to replace anxiety, knowing that our sufficiency comes from you. We ask for a comfortable and respectful working environment, where everyone can live in harmony. Help our dear believer to do well in all their tasks, working heartily as unto you, Lord. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Be mindful of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
