We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and desire confidence, excellence in your tasks, and a harmonious environment. First, we want to remind you that it is important you called out Amen in your request, which means 'so be it', but it is essential that all our requests be presented to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. For it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, in John 16:23 WEB the Bible says In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
The Apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Instead of being anxious, turn to God in prayer, and thank Him for His goodness. Remember that God cares for you and wants to help you in your time of trouble. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Regarding your work, we encourage you as Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Also we pray for you Psalm 90:17 WEB, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; Yes, establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.
We pray for your confidence and for you to do well at your designated tasks and projects.
Together we pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anxiety at work. Please comfort them and replace their anxiety with a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, according to 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Help them to be confident in their abilities and to excel in all their tasks. Create a peaceful and respectful working environment for them, one that reflects the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, as written in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and the only name under heaven which men can be saved. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to be open about your faith at work, and if permitted to discuss it with coworkers. We feel this is an excellent opportunity for sharing the gospel.
