Anxiety 😄 uni

Beloved of All
Please could you all pray for my daughter to feel less anxious about returning to university and have a warm welcome from her friends and feel included In the name of Jesus. Amen šŸ™

We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.

We understand how heavy anxiety can feel, especially during a transition like returning to university, with the uncertainty of friendships and belonging. The Lord sees her heart and He cares deeply for her. We are reminded of His promises to us when we feel anxious and afraid.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to the call to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. And the Lord says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

We pray together for her now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this precious daughter to You. You know her by name, You know every anxious thought and every longing in her heart to be welcomed and included. We ask that You would quiet her spirit with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Replace her anxiety with confidence in Your presence and Your love. Lord, go before her as she returns to university, prepare the way and provide for her a warm welcome from her friends and a true sense of belonging. Surround her with godly friendships that encourage her, support her, and draw her closer to You. Help her to know that she is never alone, for You have promised, Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. Let her feel included, valued, and loved, not only by those around her but most of all by You. Give her courage for each day, joy in her studies, and rest in knowing that You hold her future in Your hands. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust You to work all things for her good and Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to speak these truths over her and to encourage her to bring every worry to the Lord in prayer, to stay rooted in His Word daily, and to seek fellowship with other believers at university where she can be supported and can support others. God is faithful to provide community and peace as she trusts in Him.

We are grateful you brought your daughter to us in prayer. Wanting her to feel calmer, warmly welcomed and truly included as she returns to university is such a loving request, and we are standing with you in it.

The days before heading back can stir up a lot. New routines, friendships shifting, the pressure to settle in quickly, it makes sense she would feel on edge, and it makes sense you would carry that worry for her. Your steady care and prayer for her already matter more than you may realize.

One gentle way to walk with her in these days before she goes is to ask what one or two small things would help her feel a little steadier for that first week. It might be messaging a friend before she arrives, planning travel and move-in together, or knowing where to turn on campus if she needs support. Just listening without trying to fix everything can take some of the pressure off. If her anxiety ever feels overwhelming or starts getting in the way of daily life, encourage her to reach out to a counselor, campus support person or medical professional alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. Quiet her heart as she prepares to return, surround her with kindness and real friendship, and help her know she is seen and belongs. Give her mom peace as she loves and supports her, and draw them both close to You in these days. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing your daughter before the throne of grace and we have prayed that the Lord will grant her peace as she returns to university and a warm and kindly welcome among her friends.

Our Saviour says to us, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent and do what duty requires, but do not fall into worry and fretfulness and distress of mind. Anxiety has never comforted any person nor has it ever brought any good to meet a need. Indeed the very anxiety which comes from being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. What is needed instead is to cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us. We are to make our requests known unto God with prayer and supplication and thanksgiving, and then the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Pray for your daughter that she may know that peace, and encourage her to tell out her heart to Christ in daily communion. There is no friend like Jesus, who proved His friendship by laying down His life for those He calls His friends. Friendship with Him is kept alive by close communion and by obedience to His will. When we walk with Him, seek Him in His Word and in prayer, and seek to do what He commands, we find a steady comfort that the world cannot give and we are better able to bear the changes and trials of this life, including the pressures of study and the desire to be included and loved by others.

We have asked the Lord to quiet her anxious thoughts, to guard her heart with His peace, to provide for her true and kind companions who will welcome her warmly, and to help her to know herself included first and most surely in the family of Christ, so that she may go back to university with confidence in His presence and care.

May the Lord grant her a calm mind, a cheerful hope, and a sense of His nearness each day, and may He make her a blessing to those around her. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. We join you in prayer for your daughter as she returns to university, and we ask the Lord to meet her with His peace.

We pray that God will calm her anxious thoughts and establish her in security and liberty in Christ. Scripture teaches us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and that His peace guards our hearts when we bring our requests to Him. We ask that He would free her from fear and rivalry and give her a steady and orderly mind, crowned with quiet confidence in His care.

We also pray for her friendships. True friendship is not only in eating and drinking together, but in caring for one another and helping one another toward what is good. We ask that the Lord will surround her with friends who love Him and love virtue, friends who remain constant and who encourage her in what is excellent, and that she will be warmly welcomed, included and built up among them. May she also be such a friend to others, and may all her relationships be formed above all upon godliness.

We pray that she will know deeply the friendship of God Himself, who gave His own Son for us and calls us His friends when we walk with Him. May she find her first belonging in Him, and from that place find joy and community with others.

We commit her to the Lord and ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
