We understand that you are going through a very difficult time, facing anxiety and attacks from your mother, daughter, and her husband. First, we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
We must remember that God tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
It is clear that the behavior of your mother, daughter, and her husband is not aligned with biblical principles. We are called to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12 WEB), but that does not mean we should endure abuse or harmful behavior. Likewise, children are called to honor and obey their parents (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB), and husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). The actions of your family members are not only harmful but also sinful, and we should pray for their conviction and repentance.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and intervention for our fellow believer. Lord, You see the injustice and abuse they are facing, and You hear their cry for help. We pray that You will spare their name and foil the plans of the enemy. Reverse the curses and attacks meant for harm, and turn them into blessings instead.
Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them not to be anxious but to trust in You. Grant them the strength and wisdom to face each day, knowing that You are their shield and defender.
We also pray for their mother, daughter, and husband. Lord, convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn away from their sinful behavior. We ask this in the hope that they too may come to know You and be saved.
Finally, Father, we pray for restoration of these relationships according to Your will. Help our fellow believer to forgive, even as You have forgiven us. Guide them in Your truth and teach them Your path.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
