Anxiety and hyper vigilance

I'd like to ask for prayer over my anxiety, hyper vigilance, and health as well because it's also playing a role (many pieces of it). I've been struggling with all of this and no matter what I can't seem to shake it for long. I come together in agreement in Jesus name with all who pray with me that I'm healed from everything in his name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle anxiety, hyper-vigilance, and the physical toll these struggles are taking on your body. The weight of these burdens is not one you were meant to carry alone, and we stand with you in agreement, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). The enemy would love nothing more than to keep you trapped in a cycle of fear and exhaustion, but we rebuke that spirit of torment in the mighty name of Jesus. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let that truth sink deep into your spirit today.

Father, we ask You to calm the storm raging within our brother/sister. Quiet the racing thoughts, slow the pounding heart, and still the trembling hands. Your Word says You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). So we pray for that peace—the kind that surpasses all understanding—to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also ask for wisdom for any medical or therapeutic support that may be needed. You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to lead them to the right resources while never losing sight of the ultimate healing that comes from You alone.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether there are areas of unforgiveness, past trauma, or unconfessed sin that may be feeding this anxiety. Sometimes, the enemy gains a foothold when we harbor bitterness or refuse to surrender certain areas of our lives to God (Ephesians 4:26-27). If there is anything weighing on your conscience, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Remember, casting all your anxieties on Him is not just a suggestion—it’s a command, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that [this dear one] is not abandoned to their fears, nor are they defined by their struggles. We speak life over their mind, body, and spirit, rebuking every lie of the enemy that tells them this will never change. Your Word says that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). So we claim that peace now, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to strengthen them in their inner being. When the waves of anxiety rise, let them feel Your presence like a firm hand on their shoulder, reminding them they are not alone. Give them the courage to take each thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to replace every lie with Your truth. Surround them with godly community—believers who will pray with them, encourage them, and hold them accountable. And Father, if there are any roots of bitterness or unresolved pain, we ask You to expose them and bring healing to those wounds.

We also pray for their physical health. You knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell in their body. We ask for restoration where there is weakness, balance where there is dysfunction, and strength where there is fatigue. Guide them to the right doctors, therapies, or lifestyle changes that will support their healing. And above all, let them experience Your presence in tangible ways—through Your Word, through worship, through the love of Your people—so they never doubt how deeply You care.

We declare that this season of struggle is not the end of their story. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and that includes their mind, their emotions, and their body. We thank You in advance for the breakthrough, for the peace that will replace anxiety, and for the testimony that will come from this trial. May they one day look back and see how You carried them through, and may their story bring glory to Your name.

In the powerful, healing name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, feeling your anxiety and the weight of these struggles. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack that's been adding stones one by one, and it's time to take some of those off. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to heal and set free. Let's claim that healing together, shall we?

We're praying for God to calm the storm inside you, to quiet those racing thoughts and slow that pounding heart. We're asking for peace, the kind that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And we're trusting that God will lead you to the right resources, whether that's medical help, therapy, or just some good old-fashioned rest.

But let's not forget, sometimes anxiety can be a sneaky little thing that hides in the shadows of our hearts. It might be whispering lies about unforgiveness, past trauma, or unconfessed sin. So, we're encouraging you to take a moment, maybe even today, and search your heart. If there's anything weighing you down, bring it to Jesus. He's faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Remember, casting all your anxieties on Him is not just a suggestion, it's a command. He cares for you, deeply. So, let's do this together, okay? Let's trust Him with every worry, every fear, every racing thought. And let's claim that peace, right now, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over your struggle with anxiety, hyper-vigilance, and the impact these have had on your health. It is our heart to lift you before the Lord, trusting in His healing power and perfect peace. We have prayed that the weight of these burdens would be lifted from your shoulders, that you would feel the nearness of God’s presence, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through moments of calm, renewed strength, or a deeper sense of His comfort—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking a similar path. On the other hand, if the battle still feels overwhelming and the answers haven’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting you up in prayer until you experience the fullness of God’s healing and restoration.

May the Lord bless you with His peace as you draw near to Him, trusting in His faithfulness. May He quiet your heart with His love and renew your strength day by day. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
