We have heard your cry about theft, the loss of your money and identity documents, and the oppression you feel in your workplace from those you believe are working against you through occult and dark spiritual practices, and we join with you to seek God's will in Jesus' name.

We must lovingly correct and rebuke the way this request is framed, because it does not align with the heart of the gospel. You have asked that your enemies be plagued with a billion scourges, be killed, their blood shed like the oceans, and be made your footstool as slaves to repay you. The Word of God is clear that vengeance does not belong to us. Rom 12:19 says, Beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And our Lord Jesus commands us, Matt 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Rom 12:21 adds, Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

It is understandable to feel anger when you have been stolen from and spiritually oppressed, and God does see injustice and hates theft and witchcraft. Yet the scriptures you cited, such as Exod 22:18, Josh 11:11, and the plagues of Exod 7:14-12, are part of God's covenant dealings with Israel and His sovereign judgments in history, not a pattern for us to call down death and bloodshed upon people today. 1 Sam 2:6 reminds us, Yahweh kills and makes alive, that life and death are in His sovereign hands alone, not ours to decree. Even the imprecatory psalms like Ps 35 and Ps 94 are cries for God to bring His perfect justice in His way and timing, while leaving the outcome to Him. 2 Chr 20:22-25 shows that when God's people trusted Him, He fought for them without them taking vengeance into their own hands.

Our true battle is not against people. Eph 6:12 says, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The weapons we fight with are not carnal. 2 Cor 10:4 says, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. Therefore we do not pray for people to be killed or for their blood to be shed, we pray for the works of darkness to be exposed and destroyed, for people trapped in occult practices to either repent and be saved or to be stopped by God's righteous hand, and for you to be delivered and protected.

We are encouraged that you closed with IJMN, calling on the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and eternal life, and to walk daily in that relationship.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask for Your protection over our brother who feels surrounded by spiritual darkness and injustice in his workplace. Lord, You see the theft of his money and identity documents, You know the stress and fear this has caused, and we ask for Your justice and restoration according to Your perfect will. We pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness, that every fetish and work of witchcraft would be rendered powerless and brought to nothing, for 1 John 4:4 says, Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. We ask that You guard his heart from hatred and the desire for revenge, and fill him with Your peace and love even for his enemies, that he may overcome evil with good. We ask that You would convict those who have wronged him, leading them to repentance and salvation if they will turn, and that You would stop their harm. We pray for the restoration of what was stolen in the way You deem best, whether through lawful authorities, through Your provision, or through Your justice, and we ask for wisdom for him to take practical steps to report theft and protect his identity and workplace. We declare that You are his refuge, Ps 91:1 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and we ask that You make him dwell there. Let Your will be done, let Your kingdom come, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We surrender vengeance to You, trusting that You are righteous and merciful. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray not for the death of people but for God's deliverance, to bless and forgive as Christ forgave us, to seek lawful help for the stolen documents and funds, and to put on the full armor of God daily through prayer, the Word, and fellowship with other believers, trusting that God will fight for you and be your footstool in His time, Ps 110:1.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, ###, carrying the sense that you are under attack at work, and dealing with the real loss of money and ID cards. To have what is yours taken and to feel unsafe where you work is exhausting, and we want you to know we are praying for you with care.

We do not take lightly the spiritual battle you describe, and we also know God sees every injustice and hears you when you call on Him for protection and help. He is able to guard you, give you wisdom for each step, and work out what is right in His way and timing, so you do not have to carry the weight of making things right yourself.

One steady next step that may help is to protect what was stolen on the practical side while you keep praying. If you have not already, consider making a written record of what was taken, alerting your bank and the proper office about the ID cards, and talking with a trusted pastor or a safe person at your workplace about what you are experiencing. Having support close by can ease some of the pressure you are feeling.

Father, we lift ### to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection over him, for peace in his heart and at his workplace, and for wisdom for every decision ahead. Provide for his needs, guard his identity and resources, and lead him in Your will day by day. Help him to rest in Your care and justice. Amen.

Your cry concerning stolen goods, lost papers and trouble in your place of labour has been heard, and the heaviness that comes from feeling beset by darkness is not light.

There is a truth which may steady your soul in this trial. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of malice or oppression, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. It is well to have grace enough to see that tribulation comes from God, for He fills the bitter cup as well as the sweet goblet, and He will not suffer His own to be tried beyond what He will overrule for good.

You have asked that plagues and death and shedding of blood should fall upon those you count as enemies, and that their sanctuaries should be burned to dust. The Word does teach that there is a real power of darkness, and that we wrestle not against flesh and blood only, yet the deliverance which the gospel holds forth is not by calling down destruction upon others, but by looking to Him who has found a ransom. Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, so that it is a gift of Divine Love. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and this deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for such deliverance.

To pray for the death and bloody overthrow of others is to take into your own hands what belongs to the Lord, who has said, Vengeance is mine, I will repay. Our Lord Jesus has taught us to pray for those who despitefully use us, that they may be brought to repentance and live, and to seek justice by lawful and peaceable means where wrong has been done. If money has been stolen and papers taken, it is right to seek the help of the proper authorities and to ask the Lord to restrain evil and to restore what has been lost according to His wisdom, but not to ask Him to make men your footstool through bloodshed.

Let your prayer therefore be turned to this better end. Ask the Lord to keep back your soul from the pit and your life from perishing, to cover you under the blood of Christ, to break the fascinating power of sin and darkness over your heart and over your workplace, to grant you integrity and peace within your borders, and to make you to live and declare the works of the Lord. Pray that if any have done you wrong, God would bring them to see their sin, to repent and to make restitution as Zacchaeus did, and that you may be kept from bitterness and from the snare of seeking revenge by any secret art or curse, for deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God, and there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.

We pray with you now that the Lord would be gracious unto you, that He would deliver you from going down to the pit by the ransom He has found in Christ Jesus, that He would guard your body and mind, preserve your labour, provide for what has been taken and guide you to honest help for its recovery, that He would deliver you from the power of darkness and set your feet in a peaceful place, and that He would work repentance where there is sin, and keep your own heart in love and forgiveness, to the praise of His free grace.

We have read your request and we hear how deeply you feel attacked, robbed, and oppressed at your workplace, and how real the loss of your money and identity documents feels. It is right to bring these burdens to God and to ask for His protection and justice, and we want to pray with you according to what Scripture teaches.

God's Word says plainly, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord. That word is given to comfort those who suffer, not to those who do evil. It means God remains alive and just, and even if justice is not seen now, He will judge righteously in His time. Because of this we are not to take vengeance into our own hands or to ask God to shed blood or to torture others, but to leave judgment to Him. The same Scriptures that speak of God's judgment also speak of His long suffering. He delays punishment not because He overlooks evil, but because He is giving time for sinners to repent. If that mercy is despised, the judgment will be more fearful, but His desire is that people turn from darkness and live.

For this reason Jesus teaches us to pray for our enemies and to do good to those who harm us, and Scripture warns us that we will be judged by our own words, even when we believe we speak what is true. To curse others, to call down scourges and death and to ask that their sanctuaries be burned, is to speak evil, and God calls us away from that path. Christ Himself sat down at the right hand of God, expecting until His enemies are put under His feet. That subjection is His work, not ours, and it will be accomplished by His power and righteousness. The delay we experience is meant to give space for repentance and amendment of life, both for us and for those who have wronged us.

We will not join you in asking God to kill others or to shed their blood or to make them your footstool in the way you described, because that is not how God teaches His people to pray. Instead we will pray with you for what is good and holy.

We pray that God will protect you from every work of darkness, that He will guard your heart and mind in Christ, that He will expose and restrain all occult and deceitful practices, and that He will bring to nothing every plan meant to harm you. We pray that if you have been robbed, God will provide for your needs, give wisdom to those in authority to act justly, and help you take practical steps to secure your identity documents and finances, including reporting the theft to the proper authorities and seeking lawful help. We pray that God will bring conviction to those who have done wrong, that they may repent, turn from evil, and find mercy through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. And we pray that you will be strengthened to forgive as Christ forgave, to walk in holiness, and to trust God's promise that He will crown those who endure and will in the end set all things right.

If you are willing, bring this matter continually to God in this way: Father in heaven, deliver me from evil, guard my life and my work, let Your justice be done and Your mercy lead sinners to repentance, provide for what has been taken, and make my heart like Yours, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
