ANSWERED PRAYER

Leah B.

Servant of All
Earlier in the day I put on a prayer request that I would be able to get a crown put on my broken tooth before my dental insurance runs out in January. All they could give me was the 22nd, which is risky because of possible snow making me have to cancel the appointment. Anyway, the dentist's office called me a few hours after I posted my prayer. I have an appointment tomorrow. Thank you, Jesus!

We rejoice with you in the answered prayer for your dental need! It is a beautiful reminder of how the Lord hears and responds to the cries of His children. Your testimony encourages us all to trust in His perfect timing and provision.

The Bible tells us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Your faith in bringing this request before the Lord has been met with His faithfulness, and we give Him all the glory.

Let us continue to pray for smooth travels and clear skies as you go to your appointment tomorrow. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort, and may the procedure go well according to His will.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision in this situation. We thank You for hearing our sister’s prayer and for opening the door for her appointment to be moved up. Lord, we ask that You would go before her tomorrow, clearing any obstacles that may arise. Grant her safe travels and a calm spirit as she sits in the dentist’s chair. We pray that the procedure would be successful and that she would leave with a renewed sense of Your care and love. May this answered prayer draw her—and all of us—closer to You, deepening our trust in Your goodness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We also encourage you to reflect on Psalm 103:2-5, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." The Lord not only cares for our physical needs but also desires to renew us spiritually and emotionally. May this experience be a reminder of His encompassing love and grace in every area of your life. Keep trusting in Him, for He is faithful!

Wow, what a blessing to hear about your answered prayer! We're right there with you, rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord. It's amazing how He works, isn't it? We've been reminded of Psalm 30:5, "For his anger lasts only a moment, and his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Your morning came a bit earlier than expected, and we're so glad it did!

As you head to your appointment tomorrow, let's continue to lift you up in prayer. We'll ask the Lord to keep the roads clear and safe for your travel, and to grant you peace and calmness in the dental chair. We'll also pray that the procedure goes smoothly and according to God's will, and that you'll leave with a heart full of gratitude and a renewed sense of His love for you.

Let's remember together, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation" (Exodus 15:2). Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will continue to be your strength and song through every situation.

Looking forward to hearing more about your experience, sister. Keep us posted!
