Beloved of All
Lord you know my heart and what I'm going through. I don't know what you have in store for me. But I know this month has taken a toll on me. I lost my mom, trying to get her home going complete and lay her to rest, clear her apartment, work, be there for my siblings, children, and grandchildren is a lot. Although I feel unhealthy the doctor told me I was healthy today and for this I'm grateful. I love my grandson ### but I feel like he is taking advantage of me. I've been praying ### find a job, get his life together, move in the right direction, become a good role model, and move to Texas with his mom. I'm tired of what I'm going through. It's like no one cares about me. I'm trying my best to be a good mother and grandmother but I feel like I'm failing. Lord I need you. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

The Christian Mother
A mother’s faithfulness in work, wisdom, and devotion shapes her child’s character and eternal destiny.
We join with you in prayer and we hear the weight of what you are carrying this month. Losing your mom and preparing her home going service and laying her to rest while also clearing her apartment, continuing to work, and being there for your siblings, children and grandchildren is a very heavy burden and it is understandable that you feel overwhelmed and tired. The Lord sees all you are doing and He knows your heart.

We are thankful with you that the doctor told you that you are healthy even though you have felt unhealthy, for every good gift comes from Him and we praise God for His sustaining hand on you. When you feel faint He promises to strengthen you, as it is written Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength. And Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray you will be able to take that rest in Him, to allow yourself time to grieve, to sleep, to eat well, and to let others help you. You do not have to carry this alone. Psalm 61:2 says From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. And Psalm 147:3 reminds us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Your mom's loss is fresh and God is near to you in this brokenheartedness, Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We also lift up your grandson to the Lord with you. We understand your love for him and also your weariness when you feel he is taking advantage of you. Love sometimes requires setting wise and loving boundaries so that we do not enable what keeps a young man from growing. Scripture teaches 2 Thessalonians 3:10 If anyone will not work, neither let him eat, and Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. We pray with you that he will find work, get his life together, move in the right direction, become a good role model, and if it is the Lord's will, move to Texas with his mom and build a stable life there. We ask God to stir his heart to diligence, responsibility and respect for you and for the Lord, and to give you wisdom and courage to speak truth in love, to say no when needed, and to entrust him to God rather than carrying responsibility that belongs to him.

When you say it feels like no one cares about you and that you feel like you are failing as a mother and grandmother, we want to gently remind you that this feeling, though very real, is not the truth about you or about God's care for you. You are not failing, you are faithfully pouring out for others in a very difficult season, and Galatians 6:9 says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. The Lord cares deeply for you, 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Your prayer in Jesus name is heard.

We pray together now, Father in heaven we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up Your daughter to You. You know her heart, her grief, her exhaustion and every detail she is carrying. Comfort her as she mourns her mother, give her peace as she completes the home going and clears the apartment, strengthen her for work and for caring for family. Guard her health and help her to rest in You. Lift the heaviness and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding, Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Show her that she is seen, valued and loved by You and help her family to see and support her as well. We ask You to work in the heart of her grandson, draw him to Yourself, give him a desire to work and to walk in integrity, open a door for a job and guide his steps toward becoming a godly role model, and direct his path concerning Texas. Give her wisdom to love him well with both grace and truth and to set healthy boundaries. Renew her strength, remind her she is not failing but is faithful in Your eyes, and fill her with hope for what You have in store for her. We trust You to carry her through this season. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy this month has been for you, carrying so much at once. Losing your mom while trying to settle her home, clear her apartment, keep working, and be there for siblings, children and grandchildren would leave anyone exhausted. It makes sense you feel tired and stretched thin, and also that you feel unseen in it all.

Please hear that feeling like you are failing does not mean you are failing. You are grieving and you are also carrying a lot for other people. Grief takes time and comes in waves, and the extra responsibilities on top of it can quickly drain your strength and health. We are grateful with you that your doctor visit was reassuring.

Loving your grandson and praying for him to find work and direction is a good and faithful thing, and it is also understandable to feel taken advantage of when you are already running on empty. Caring well does not mean you have to do everything for everyone without limits. It is okay to guard your time and energy and to let others share the load.

One small step that may help this week is to name one task you do not have to carry alone, perhaps clearing the apartment or another family need, and ask one trusted person, a sibling, friend, or someone at church, to help you with just that part.

We pray for you now. Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus' name. Comfort her as she mourns her mother, give her rest for her body and peace for her heart, and remind her that You see her and care for her. Give her wisdom for each decision and for loving her family with both grace and healthy limits, and surround her with support in the days ahead. Amen.

Your burden is heavy and the Lord knows it fully, even as you have poured it out before Him. To lose a mother, to lay her to rest and to clear away what remains of her dwelling, while still bearing the weight of work and the care of siblings, children and grandchildren, is a grief that would bow down any strength. It is no wonder you feel weary and faint, and that you say no one cares for you.

Yet the Lord does care, and He has heard your brief and silent prayer, even as Nehemiah prayed in a moment before the king. That spirit of prayer is a plentiful mother, and many times in a day you may speak with the Lord your God in a sigh or a tear, and He will hear. When you feel unhealthy and yet have received mercy in the report of health, give thanks, for it is His goodness that sustains you. When you feel you are failing as a mother and grandmother, remember that He comforts like a mother comforts her children, He binds up every wound and covers His people with the robe of righteousness in Christ.

The obligations that press upon you are overwhelming, and you cannot overtake them in your own strength. Look straight into the face of the Man who was acquainted with grief, who knelt in the garden and sweat as it were great drops of blood for His people. He knows what it is to sorrow, and He invites you to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Salvation and rest are in Jesus Christ alone, and in Him there is grace for this day and for tomorrow.

We will pray with you that the Lord will give you rest and strength, that He will sustain you in this season of mourning, that He will provide for your family, and that He will work in the heart of your grandson, that he may seek honest labor, walk in the right direction, and become a faithful man who honors his mother and his grandmother. May the Lord teach him to bear his own burden and to walk in the way that is pleasing to God, and may He give you wisdom to love him well while not being spent beyond what is right, setting kind and firm boundaries as the Lord leads.

Do not think your prayers are lost. Keep praying, keep looking to Christ, and lean upon the church which God has given to be as a tender nursing mother to her offspring, that you may not bear this alone. The Lord who separated and called you from your birth will not forsake you now.

We commend you to Him in prayer, that He would keep you in His peace, strengthen your body and soul, comfort you in the loss of your mother, and lift up your eyes to see His mercy renewed each morning. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
