Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been honored to lift up your family over these past two years and we continue to remember your adult son before the Lord, especially his struggles with mental illness and addiction.
We give thanks with you for all the Lord has already done in the life of your son and we join you in praising God for His mercy and faithfulness. We continue to stand with you for the breaking of chains in the areas of work and career, for a church family where he can belong and grow, and for meaningful hobbies and volunteer opportunities that give him community. We pray for the Lord to guide him to the right job, not one that feels like giving his life away to something he hates, but one where he can use his gifts and be part of a healthy community environment. We pray also for the Lord to lead him to a church where he feels at home and can be involved, and for open doors to a hobby or service opportunity that brings purpose and connection.
We also lift up your husband to the Lord after the layoff from his job of fifteen years. We understand how hurt and upset he must feel after so many years with people he cared about and work he enjoyed. We pray for comfort for his heart, for renewed hope, and for the Lord to open the right door for provision and employment. We remember the miraculous approval that allowed your son to remain on the family health plan until Dec 2028, and we share your confidence that the Lord did not provide that miracle to then leave you without coverage. We pray for Gods provision over your insurance needs and for His perfect timing and solution, for we know He cares for every detail of your family. We rest on the promise in Phil 4:19 that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus and on Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
