Another situation at work. My assistant is leaving next year due to pregnancy so another person was hired for the job. This person happens to be the daughter of a co-worker. My co-worker just found out she is losing her assistant so she wants her daughter to be in her classroom even though she committed to me and my director. However, the director is considering this and then I would have to start all over. Working with somebody so closely for several hours a day is like a marriage and it is stressful finding a good match. Please pray that someone that I really mesh well with comes along quickly. At this point, I don't want her in my room if she doesn't want to be in there regardless. The kids come first and if someone is going to be unhappy working with that age group, they shouldn't be in that room anyway.
