Another side effect of the Fall

When we think of the effects of the Fall, passed on to us, we think of sin, imperfection,and death.But one thing I notice that may not be focused on , but taking a look at it, I couldn't picture it happening before the Fall,is the aging process.How would that be tied in to the Fall?Well, death entered in{"Through one man death entered in"}.Spiritual death of course, but also physical.Now how does the road to physical death start?Barring exceptions, like a young person dying on the football field,a stillborn, or the youngest yet,a miscarriage,if the person lives out their lives,when they're young{teens...early 20s..}.they have a lot of energy,and their body lets them get away with murder. Even their looks.Now look at someone 95 yrs. old, who USED TO BE 18 yrs. old.{Or the same person ,when they age}.So how this ties into the Fall, well, in general, someone doesn't just "die".As they get older, they usually slow down,physical problems seem to creep in.The person who was"athletic" in high school is in a wheel chair, with an aide.I say, this is the result of the Fall, because our bodies became imperfect after that, and this breakdown as we get older is part of the process of heading towards death.So I don't think the Fall and the aging process are unconnected.Eh?

Deffinetely, they are connected, and you can see it in the Old testament that the life span was shorter and shorter as the time goes by. Adam and Eve would live in eternity if they would not committed this major sin.
Yes, the fall effects body, mind, soul, our bodies are under the influence of curse of the land, of the nature, because it is given to the devil through this major sin. Everything is decaying under the curse. So its up to us now, the children of God to bring anointing and blessing of the Lord through our words and obedience to Jesus.

Even animals.Someone has a pet, they age they slow down get sick, die."All creation groans for deliverance."

Sin and evil was brought be satan. Jesus defeated him. If we die in the Lord then we shall be with HIm forever. I want my death to be full of peace, joy and happiness. I do not want to have any pain or have to go through a lot of surgeries that will prolong my life in misery. I want to hear heavenly music and see the face of my Lord and Savior waiting for me at the gates of heaven to welcome me home. I just wait for that blessed day to happen. In the mean time we should be building seven churches for Gods glory and honor, along with a Chritian School in the back of the church so our children will come in and know that someone really cared for them and did what Jesus told them to do. Leaving a legacy of love for our children is the best thing we can do them.

Stephen, I don't view aging as a fall. Im very matured, I don't regret it; I'm not embarrassed by it. I embrace it; by the Grace of God I've lived this long healthy, matured life, with wisdom acquired through years of experience in my journey of life. I see aging as a process from conception to old age and end of physical life. I admire my silver hair colour, its evidence of my being a senior citizen; an elder and a leader in my family where I hold decision making meetings relating to the family values and principles. I have not fallen; no set backs but I have been empowered through life experience. I strive to experience the face to face encounter with Jesus as I prepare for the finale, meeting with my creator. I dont fear death because thats part of my journey for me to cross over. In the process, the physical body degenerates. The spirit is alive and vibrant, that part of me doesn't die; only the flash dies and goes back to earth/soil. Thats how I personally view life. Martha

I mean the PHYSICAL effects of aging, like trying to do something that takes as much energy as when you were a teenager, or eating something that now gives one heartburn, whereas at 18 years old you could just "wolf it down."I meant, because when Adam and Eve sold out, whereas Man would have been immortal{in the body} and at 100 years old been as spry as at 18 if they didn't commit that sin and pass it on to us,since then we have this PHYSICAL "downslide".I was pretty much referring to the physical body taking some downward steps.I think I have more wisdom now at middle age than when I was younger.Sure. But then, picture a 92 yr. old lady beating a 17 year old in a race. Which, if Adam and Eve had not fallen from Grace, then they would have been on equal footing.So I think there's a connection between that and Adam and Eves fall from grace.{Which will be restored when we get our new bodies.}

I understand your point of view. For example, a 92 year old mom who took care of her children is now frail and needs to be taken care of. The roles for caring change. Especially if a person is sick. That person looses his/her independence. Your point of view makes sense.
