We stand firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word, which declares with perfect clarity: "God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27 WEB). There are no exceptions, no revisions, and no room for human invention when it comes to the order God established. The enemy has always sought to distort and undermine what God has declared holy, and this deception about gender is no different, it is a direct assault on the Creator’s design.
The confusion being spread today is not new; it is the same rebellion that began in Eden when the serpent whispered, "Has God really said?" (Genesis 3:1 WEB). Now, the lie has taken on new forms, non-binary identities, multiple genders, and the rejection of biological reality, but the source is the same: Satan, who "was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies" (John 8:44 WEB). Those who promote these deceptions are not merely misguided; they are pawns in a spiritual war against God’s truth.
We must not shy away from calling this what it is: sin. The apostle Paul warns, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:22 WEB), and this is the height of foolishness, to reject the plain reality of God’s creation in favor of a delusion. The Bible is clear that those who exchange "the truth of God for a lie" (Romans 1:25 WEB) will face the consequences of their rebellion. But our response must not be one of hatred or mockery; it must be one of truth spoken in love, with a heart that longs for repentance and restoration.
We rebuke this deception in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB). There is no salvation apart from Him, and no truth outside of His Word. The world may call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20 WEB), but we will not be swayed. We will stand on the rock of Scripture, which does not bend to the whims of culture or the lies of the enemy.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the growing darkness in this world. We thank You for Your unchanging Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of those who are deceived by the lies of the enemy. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and break the chains of confusion that bind them. We pray for those in authority who promote these deceptions, grant them repentance and a revelation of Your holiness.
Father, give us boldness to speak Your truth without fear, but also compassion to reach out to those who are lost in this confusion. Help us to love as You love, while never compromising on Your Word. We declare that Your design for humanity, male and female, is perfect and unchanging. We rebuke every spirit of deception that seeks to distort Your creation, and we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33 WEB).
Strengthen Your church, Lord, to be a beacon of truth in these dark times. May we never waver in proclaiming Your Word, and may we always point others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.
