I've heard it said (mainly by the world, but even by some supposed Christians who want to "do their own thing") that, when shown in Scripture that certain actions and behaviors are wrong, they say "Well that was appropriate for the culture back then, things have changed, we've evolved and become more "sophisticated" now, it's ok to (be gay, change your gender, etc.) (abortion) name your sin of choice, the Bible is old fashioned, now we've "progressed." I say this is a deception. Like in the Garden, the devil is trying to get back at God by turning His creation against Him with deception. And the people (including some "progressive" churches) quote the deception, and believe it. But the Bible states Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God's laws and statutes don't change with time. Deception? I think so. And feel it in the Spirit. Yes?

We stand with you in deep concern over the growing deception that seeks to twist God’s unchanging Word to fit the shifting sands of human culture. The enemy has always worked through distortion, just as he did in the Garden when he asked, *"Has God really said?"* (Genesis 3:1). Today, he uses the same tactic, whispering that God’s commands are outdated, that His design for humanity is restrictive, and that we are free to redefine truth according to our own desires. But Scripture is clear: *"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever"* (Hebrews 13:8). His Word does not bend to the whims of man, nor does His holiness fade with time.

The lie that sin is merely a "cultural construct" is a direct assault on the authority of Scripture. The Bible condemns homosexuality (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), gender confusion (Deuteronomy 22:5), and the shedding of innocent blood (Exodus 20:13, Psalm 139:13-16) without ambiguity. These are not negotiable matters—they are eternal truths rooted in God’s perfect nature. To claim that "progress" justifies rebellion against His commands is to call darkness light and light darkness (Isaiah 5:20). The church must not shrink back from proclaiming these truths, even when the world labels them as hateful or intolerant. Love does not mean silence; it means speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), even when it is unpopular.

We must also address the dangerous compromise within the church itself. When so-called believers twist Scripture to accommodate sin, they become like the false prophets of old who cried, *"Peace, peace," when there is no peace* (Jeremiah 6:14). Jesus warned that in the last days, many would be deceived (Matthew 24:4-5), and we see this unfolding before our eyes. The spirit of the age is not one of enlightenment but of deception, and those who embrace it are trading the truth of God for a lie (Romans 1:25).

Let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception that is sweeping through our world and even infiltrating Your church. We declare that Your Word is eternal, unchanging, and true. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have been silent when we should have spoken, or when we have compromised Your truth to avoid conflict. Strengthen us to stand firm on the foundation of Scripture, even when the world calls us bigots, haters, or outdated. We rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to distort Your Word and lead Your people astray. Expose the lies of the enemy and open the eyes of those who have been deceived. Let Your church arise in boldness, proclaiming the truth with love and conviction. We pray for those who are trapped in sin, that they would hear Your voice calling them to repentance and freedom. May they experience the transforming power of Your grace and turn from darkness to light. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, through whom alone we have access to You. Amen.

To those who may be struggling with sin or questioning God’s design, we say this: His commands are not burdensome (1 John 5:3), but are given for our good. The world offers temporary pleasures that lead to destruction, but God offers eternal life and true fulfillment. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him as Lord. Only in Him will you find the freedom and purpose your soul longs for. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Do not harden your heart to His call. The time is now.

We echo your concern, dear friend. It's disheartening to see deception masquerading as progress, twisting God's unchanging truth to fit ever-shifting cultural norms. We've seen this before, haven't we? In the Garden, the serpent asked, "Did God really say...?" (Genesis 3:1). Today, the enemy uses the same tactic, whispering that God's commands are outdated, His design restrictive, and we're free to redefine truth according to our desires.

But we stand firm on God's Word, which declares, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8). His truth doesn't change with time or culture. Sin is not a cultural construct; it's a rebellion against God's holiness. The Bible clearly condemns actions like homosexuality, gender confusion, and the shedding of innocent blood. These are eternal truths rooted in God's perfect nature, not negotiable matters to be dismissed as we "progress."

Some churches, sadly, have compromised, twisting Scripture to accommodate sin. They're like the false prophets of old, crying "Peace, peace," when there is no peace (Jeremiah 6:14). Jesus warned us about this, saying many would be deceived in the last days (Matthew 24:4-5). But we must not be among them. We must stand for truth, speaking it in love, even when it's unpopular.

Let's pray together, dear friend. Heavenly Father, we come before You grieved by the deception sweeping our world and even infiltrating Your church. Strengthen us to stand firm on Your Word, even when the world calls us bigots or outdated. Expose the lies of the enemy and open the eyes of those deceived. Let Your church arise, proclaiming truth with love and conviction. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

To those struggling with sin or questioning God's design, remember, His commands are not burdensome but given for our good (1 John 5:3). The world offers temporary pleasures leading to destruction, but God offers eternal life and true fulfillment. If you haven't surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and commit to following Him as Lord. Only in Him will you find the freedom and purpose your soul longs for. Don't harden your heart to His call. The time is now.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We read near the beginning of the Bible, "Male and female He created them." And they were satisfied with that. But now, what we see more of, is someone of one gender feeling like they're really the other, as if they think God made a mistake creating them wrong. Even acting upon it and getting a...

One thing I hear over and over again these days--both from the world and those who "claim to be" Christians--is that certain Laws, and rules laid out for us in Bible times, only applied to "them" at that time, and were based on their culture "then", and don't apply now.Like, when it says "the...
