We join you in this cry for purity and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and cleansing from sin. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We praise God that you have come in His name.
We understand your desire to be free from sinful music and evil images that defile the heart and mind. The Lord calls us to guard what we allow before our eyes and into our ears. We are encouraged by the psalmist who declared I will set no vile thing before my eyes Psalm 101:3 and again Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things Psalm 119:37. What we listen to and look at shapes our thoughts, and God wants our thoughts to be captive to Christ, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5.
The enemy uses sounds and images to sow temptation, but God has provided a way to be cleansed and renewed. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We are not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind Romans 12:2. We are to dwell on what is pure and lovely, as it is written Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8.
We encourage you to take practical steps as God gives you strength, to remove sources of temptation from your phone, computer and surroundings, to replace worldly music with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord Ephesians 5:19, and to fill your mind with the Word so that when temptation comes you can resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who longs for a clean heart and a pure mind. Lord, we ask You to wash away every sinful influence, every sound of music that glorifies sin and every evil image that has lodged in the mind. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us Psalm 51:10. Purify our eyes and ears and let Your Holy Spirit fill every place where darkness has tried to dwell. Help us to set no wicked thing before our eyes and to guard our hearts with all diligence. Fill this longing with Your presence, with worship that honors You and with thoughts that are true and pure. Give strength to turn away, to resist temptation, and to walk in holiness. We thank You for Your forgiveness and for Your power to make us new. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. There is a true and gracious desire in your prayer, for you ask to be kept unspotted from the world, as the apostle James exhorts us, to keep himself unspotted from the world. Purity is one of the two great garments of Christianity, and you do well to seek it.
The Lord hears such a cry, for He has not forsaken them that seek Him. Your burden concerning sinful music and evil images is not a light thing, for darkness has a blinding and depressing power, and the prince of darkness would keep the mind in chains. But our deliverance is by divine power. As Israel was brought forth out of Egypt when the lamb was slain, so we are delivered from the power of darkness and from going down to the pit, because God has found a ransom in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and ask for cleansing and deliverance for this soul who seeks You. Wash away all that is sinful and remove far from the mind and the senses the sounds of corrupt music and the power of evil images. By Your Spirit, shut the ear to what would spot the soul and turn the eye from beholding vanity. Deliver from the power of darkness and translate into the kingdom of Your dear Son.
Grant instead a new song. Give songs of deliverance, that the heart may be filled with music that magnifies Your name. Let the Word of Truth dwell richly within, that thoughts may be pure and affections set upon Christ, who is our ransom and our peace. Keep this one graciously, that in poverty or plenty, in trade or in rest, the life may be kept unspotted and abounding in gratitude for great deliverance.
We ask this trusting not in our own strength, for deliverance is of the Lord, but in the free favor and substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, who has promised to be gracious unto him. May there be joy and a lively, happy frame of mind in walking before You rejoicing.
