Possessing Christ by faith means you already have eternal life within you.
A passion for souls means valuing eternal salvation above all else and urging you to seek it for others.
Human effort alone cannot save us or others, so we must turn to God in prayer for true rescue.
We join you in lifting up this Olympian and all the people in her life before the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have brought this request in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
It is the heart of our Father that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, for God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. We are reminded that The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.
We thank you for interceding for one who may be in the public eye with great pressure and influence, and for those closest to her. Whether she is in need of salvation or already knows the Lord, we pray that God will draw her and her circle ever closer to Himself and make His salvation sure in their lives.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that You hear our prayers. Lord, we lift up this Olympian to You. You know her by name, You see her heart, and You know her need. If she has not yet received Jesus as Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw her by Your Holy Spirit, open her eyes to Your truth, and grant her repentance and faith. We pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, for Your Word promises that with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10. We also lift up every person in her life, her family, friends, teammates, and coaches, that You would save all among them who are still lost and strengthen all who already belong to You.
Father, reveal to them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him, John 14:6, and that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Let Your Word reach them, let godly believers cross their path, and let them see Your love and Your calling clearly. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13.
We thank You for the one who prayed this faithful prayer, and we ask that You encourage them to continue in intercession, knowing that the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. May this Olympian and her loved ones come to know the joy and hope of eternal life in Christ, and may their lives be a testimony to Your grace. We ask all this in the saving and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer for this Olympian and for those connected to her is a right and precious thing to bring before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in it.
Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is of the character of Christ Himself who ever liveth to make intercession for us. It is exceedingly prevalent also, and has wrought wonders, and it benefits those who use it by knitting our hearts together in love and fitting us to be instruments in the hand of God for turning sinners from the error of their ways. To plead for others who are still in the deplorable condition from which grace has delivered us, saying, Lord, set my fellow captives free and enable them to taste the sweetness of Thy salvation, is the instinct of the newly delivered soul.
We do not know the state of this woman's soul, nor of those around her, but the Lord knows them altogether, and He has declared that there is salvation in none other but Jesus Christ alone. So we pray with you that if she has not yet believed on the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to her need, show her Christ crucified and risen, and bring her to repentance and faith. And we pray the same for every soul in her life, her family, her friends, her companions, that where there is yet unbelief the Lord would in His lovingkindness grant them saving faith.
May the God of peace hear this importunate cry, Lord help them, and answer according to His abundant mercy. We encourage you to continue steadfast in this supplication, for prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from their way, and our Lord never finally refuses to listen to such pleading when it is offered through His name.

Your prayer reflects the heart that God desires in His people, to desire and to ask that others might be saved. The Apostle says, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they might be saved, and this is pleasing to God who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone.
It is good to bring this Olympian before the Lord, and also the people in her life, whether family, friends, teammates or coaches. We do not know the state of each soul, but God knows, and He hears prayer offered in the name of Christ. The Scriptures teach that now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, so we should not delay in praying and in sharing the hope of the gospel when God gives opportunity.
