We know how a sound or a phrase can lodge itself in the mind and become a burden, and we take comfort that God is our deliverer and our peace. Scripture tells us to be bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Cor 10:5, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. When we sought Yahweh, he answered us and delivered us from all our fears, Psalm 34:4, for he has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Tim 1:7.
We also encourage you to intentionally fill your mind and your atmosphere with what honors God, for we are told, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things, Phil 4:8. If this song or its message does not honor God, we encourage you to turn away from listening to it and to replace it with worship, prayer, and the reading of Scripture, so that your mind may be renewed. We are told to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We ask that you deliver them completely from this song title, from the memory of its authors, and from every sound and replay that has taken hold in their mind. Wash their thoughts clean by your Holy Spirit and let your peace guard their heart and mind. We rebuke any influence of the enemy that would use music or sound to harass or oppress, and we command it to leave in Jesus name. Fill this place in their mind with your presence, with hymns and spiritual songs that glorify you, and with your Word. Let them hear your still small voice above all other sounds and know that you are their refuge and deliverer. Restore quietness, rest, and joy, and help them to fix their thoughts on you. We thank you that you hear us when we pray in Jesus name and that you are faithful to deliver. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. You ask the heavenly Father to deliver you from the title of a song and the authors and all the sounds that trouble you, and we know that He is a God who hears the groaning of the prisoner and looks down from the height of His sanctuary to loose those that are appointed to trouble.
There is a precious word for such a need, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has invented the way and He has found the ransom in His own Son. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. It is not by any easy work or by a hasty word of our own, but by supernatural power put forth in us, for there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.
Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What you suffer He sees, and that which comes from His hand bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father hand, and He has not forsaken them that seek Him. Even when the mind is beset with sounds that will not depart, His thoughts toward you remain precious and great in sum, higher than your thoughts as the heavens are higher than the earth.
We would pray that He would grant you songs of deliverance in place of the noise that now vexes you. As Deborah sang of deliverance from the archers, so may you be delivered from inward discord and be given music in your heart and on your lips. The Lord can keep back your soul from the Pit and quiet the multitude of thoughts that press upon you, and make you to say with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. When you awake may you find that you are still with Him, and that His Spirit has filled your mind with holy thoughts that place you near to God where no tormenting sound can reign.
Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, graciously look upon this troubled one who seeks deliverance from sounds that cling to the mind. Thou hast found a ransom, and Thou hast power to deliver from the pit and from the power of darkness. Speak Thou the word, Deliver him, and by Thy supernatural power set the mind at liberty. Take away the vain music that haunts and give instead the music of Thy grace, the bells of mercy and the song of Thy salvation.
