Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the desire of their heart to attend this gathering and You know every detail and circumstance surrounding it. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the doors and make a way where there seems to be no way, providing the means, the opportunity, and Your favor to attend. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart while they wait upon You. If this is not Your best for them at this time, we ask that You would make that clear and give them contentment and trust in Your greater plan. Let Your will be done in this situation and let them see Your hand at work. We ask that You would draw them closer to You through this time of prayer and waiting, and help them to trust in You with all their heart. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your sincere and brief prayer is heard, and we gladly join you in bringing it before the Lord. You desire to attend that place which lies upon your heart, and you have done well to bring that desire to the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Be encouraged to continue in prayerful importunity. Our Lord taught us of the woman who came again and again to the judge until he heard her, and she established herself at the door as soon as the courthouse was open. So do you keep knocking at the mercy seat. Do not listen to the temptation that says there is no mercy for you or that God will not hear your supplication. Go to your chamber, fall upon your knees, open His Holy Word, and plead the promise with earnest expectation. Your extremity may be God's opportunity to show His hand.
Remember also that there is a door and a fountain ever open to you. Jesus Christ says, I am the door, and Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. The big gates are set wide open, and none who comes to Him in truth shall be turned away. For sin and for guilt there is a fountain opened, accessible at this moment to the sons of men. If you are coming to God about this outward matter, come also for the cleansing of your heart, for pardon and for a new spirit, which He delights to give. He is made of God fullness to our emptiness, righteousness to our unrighteousness, and life to our death. The fountain is open, and if you are needy you are welcome to come to it.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We have heard your brief prayer and we join you in bringing it before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.
We pray that the Lord would guide you concerning this desire to attend what you have mentioned. If it is according to His will and for your good and His glory, we ask Him to open the door, to provide what is needed, and to give you peace as you trust Him. If it is not His best for you at this time, we ask Him to make that clear and to lead you to what is better, and to give you contentment in His wise care.
We also encourage you as you pray to attend carefully to what you are saying to God. It is easy for the mind to wander even while the lips are speaking, but the help for this is to shut the doors of the mind to distraction and to give your whole heart to the Lord in prayer. When we truly attend to God, we can trust that He attends to us, for He is a Father who hears His children who call upon Him through Christ with faith and sincerity.
Seek first the spiritual things and the health of your soul, and trust God with the temporal things. Continue in prayer, in hearing Scripture, and in fellowship with the church, and commit your plans to the Lord that He may direct your steps.
