Possessing Christ by faith means you already have eternal life within you.
A passion for souls means valuing eternal salvation above all else and urging you to seek it for others.
Human effort alone cannot save us or others, so we must turn to God in prayer for true rescue.
We join you in lifting up this urgent need before the throne of grace and we are moved by your compassionate heart for the lost, for it reflects the very heart of our Father who desires all people to be saved.
We see you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ and we rejoice in that, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only through Him that salvation comes. Scripture reminds us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. And, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We are encouraged that God hears such intercession, for He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4 and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Your prayer aligns perfectly with His will.
We pray together now for those involved in that incident and for all those connected to them.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up every soul affected by this incident that was mentioned. You see each person, You know their hearts and whether they have yet called upon Your Son for salvation. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw them to Yourself, that You would open their eyes to their need for a Savior and open their hearts to receive the gift of eternal life through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. We pray that if any are still in need of salvation, today would be the day they believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. We also lift up their families, friends, and all the people in their lives, that Your mercy would extend to each one and that none would be left without hearing the good news that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. Bring comfort, healing, and Your peace that surpasses understanding to those who are suffering, and use this difficult time to turn many hearts toward You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, amen.

Thank you for bringing these people before the Lord. Your first response to hearing about an incident was to ask for mercy for those involved and for the people in their lives, and that kind of compassion reflects Christ's heart.
We join you in praying for them. We do not know the details of what happened in , and we do not need to in order to pray. God knows each person who was there, He knows their families and friends, and He knows exactly where each one is with Him. We can trust Him to hear and to work in ways we cannot see.

How good and right it is that your heart has been enlarged to pray for others in their distress. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, and when we plead for the souls of others we are most like Him. There is a blessing also to those who offer such prayer, for the Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and in praying for others our own hearts are knit together in love and fitted to be the instruments of God.
We join you in this supplication before the throne of grace. That which was lost is exactly what the Son of Man came to seek and to save, and this harbor of mercy is deep enough for the lowest and most distressed. There is one and only one way of salvation, through the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, and now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation for any who will come to Him.
Let us pray together that the Lord in His infinite compassion would visit with saving grace every soul touched by this incident, and every soul connected to them in family and friendship, if they have not yet believed. That He would open blind eyes, give repentance and faith, and draw them to trust in Jesus Christ alone for the common salvation which belongs to all who believe. May the Spirit of God work effectually, that those who are yet lost may be found, and those who are found may be kept.

We join you in prayer for all those affected by this incident and for the people in their lives. Your desire that they would know salvation is good and reflects the heart of God, who desires that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. There in heaven there is no unbelief and no disobedience, and so we rightly pray that on earth also every heart would be drawn to fear Him and to trust in His Son.
We pray that each one who does not yet know Christ would hear the gospel and turn to Him while there is time, for now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation. Scripture reminds us that salvation is found only in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory, and there is no other name by which we are saved. It comes through believing on Him and through a life of obedience and patient endurance as we follow Him.
So we ask our merciful Father to have compassion on those caught in this incident, to spare life where it is His will, to comfort those who suffer, and above all to open eyes to see their need for Christ. We ask Him to work also in the families, friends and all connected to them, that they too would be brought to salvation if they do not yet know Him. Even as He causes His sun to rise and His rain to fall on all, He is patient and kind, giving time for repentance.
