We join with you in prayer for deliverance and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every chain is broken. Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.

We hear the distress in your request and the torment of these memories, sounds, and songs that have lodged in your mind, and we stand with you against every work of the enemy. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. No evil eye, no curse, no weapon formed against you can prosper when you are hidden in Christ. Isaiah 54:17. The idea of the evil eye has no power over a child of God who is covered by the blood of Jesus, for the Lord is your keeper and your shade. Psalm 121:5.

We also understand how music can open a door to oppression, especially when its words and sounds stir up lust and impure thoughts. We want to encourage you to take decisive action in the natural as well as the spiritual. We will set no vile thing before our eyes. Psalm 101:3. Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8. That means we must remove from our homes and devices any music that defiles the mind and brings demonic torment, and choose instead to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:18-19.

The lingering memories and sounds you describe are the enemy trying to hold your mind captive, but God has given us the weapons to fight. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. You can be renewed by the transforming of your mind. Romans 12:2. We must also address lust directly, for lust is sin that wars against the soul and must be confessed and forsaken. We are called to flee sexual immorality and to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. So we repent of every lustful thought and ask God to cleanse our hearts and create in us a pure heart.

We pray together now for your complete deliverance.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask You to deliver from every demonic memory, from every sound and every word and title of ungodly songs that have taken root in the mind. We ask You to silence every tormenting sound and to cast out every evil influence that has tried to oppress. We submit ourselves to You, and in Jesus name we resist the devil and command him to flee. James 4:7. We ask You to break the power of lust and every impure desire, wash this mind with the blood of Jesus, and fill every empty place with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace and Your purity. Father, we pray that You would remove fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let Your Word dwell richly within, renewing thoughts day and night. We pray that You would guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus and let no evil eye or curse have any place, for we are Your beloved child and no one can snatch us from Your hand. Let worship and Scripture replace every ungodly sound, and let joy and freedom be restored. We ask this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer and our Hope. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in this freedom by daily reading Scripture aloud, praying continually, singing godly worship, and refusing to revisit those songs or sounds even for a moment. When the memory tries to return, speak the name of Jesus aloud and quote Scripture over your mind. Stay in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable, and if the music is still on any device, delete it completely. God is faithful to complete the deliverance He has begun in you.

Thank you for sharing this honest cry for freedom. We hear how tiring it is to have songs, words and sounds looping in your mind when you want peace, and how much you want the Lord to lift the weight of lust and fear that comes with them.

We believe Jesus is the one who sets us free, and He meets us with patience as we turn to Him. What we have taken in through music can stay with us for a while, and renewal is often more like training over time than a single moment. Part of that training is gently turning our attention away from what torments us and toward what brings life and steadiness in Christ, and doing that in community so we are not carrying it alone.

One simple step that helps many is to make your listening space calmer for a season. If there are specific songs, titles or playlists that keep returning, consider removing them from your phone and where you can easily hear them, and fill that space with quiet prayer, Scripture reading, or music that helps you rest. Walking this out with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you regularly can also bring encouragement and accountability.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. Quiet these intrusive memories and sounds, cleanse and renew their mind, and guard them from fear. Give them strength to walk in purity and peace, and lead them day by day closer to You. Amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard, and we join our faith with yours before the throne of grace. You have asked to be freed from tormenting memories of music, from sounds and words that cling to the mind, from the fear of the evil eye, from lust and from every oppressing influence of the enemy, and we bring that burden to the Lord who is mighty to save.

Take comfort in this sure word, Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Though the archers of temptation and accusation may shoot at you when you would draw near to Christ, He has not shut His ear against you. Deliverance is by divine power alone. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His people, and that deliverance came when the lamb was slain. So it is with you. Your hope is not in your own strength to forget a song or to silence a sound, for you can do nothing and you know it, but in free grace only through Jesus Christ.

God has found a ransom. There is music in that word, gracious, more music than all earthly songs, for it means free favor to sinners. Looking upon one slipping down toward the pit, the Lord says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Himself, given for sinners. Through His blood you have not only deliverance from the guilt of sin, but deliverance from the power of darkness and from the power of sin itself. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, and that from our heavenly Father alone.

Therefore do not fear the evil eye nor any sound that the enemy would use to harass you. No curse and no eye can prevail over those who are kept in Christ, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. If lust or old memories assail you, know that Satan comes with fiery darts, but the Lord is your shield. Resist him steadfast in the faith, and turn your mind to be filled with what is pure and holy.

We would counsel you in the love of Christ to put away the music and sounds that feed these memories, for as you drink of that cup, especially the cup of lust, it poisons the soul. Make a clean break from it. And in its place, take up the songs of deliverance. We have a far richer theme for music, we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation. Let gratitude have its song. Fill your lips and your household with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with Scripture read and sung and prayed, that your heart may have new music to carry through the day. When a tormenting word or title returns to your mind, answer it with the Word of God, and pray at once for grace to think on whatsoever is true and holy.

Let us pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, that Thou wouldst be gracious unto this dear one who seeks Thee. Deliver from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom. By Thy divine power bring forth out of this Egypt of sorrow and oppression. Wash away guilt by the blood of the Lamb, break the power of sin and lust, silence the lying sounds and memories that torment the mind, and keep from all evil and every fear of the evil eye. Fill the heart with Thy peace, renew the mind by Thy Holy Spirit, and give songs of deliverance in place of songs of trouble. Cause this tried one to live and to declare the works of the Lord, and to know that Thou hast not forsaken them that seek Thee. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Walk on with the Lord, seeking Him daily in prayer and in the Scriptures, and if these assaults continue, seek the steady help of a faithful pastor who can walk beside you and pray with you. The Lord who has begun a good work will perfect it, for deliverance is of the Lord.
