We join you in bringing this request before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for seeking Him for peace and quiet.
We understand your desire for stillness and for the removal of sounds that are disturbing you. Our God is a God of peace and He cares about what troubles our hearts, even in what may seem like small things. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember the words of Psalm 46:10, Be still, and know that I am God, and John 14:27 where Jesus says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for quiet and rest. Lord, You know the sounds that are causing distress and You know the longing for peace. We ask that You would in Your mercy remove or quiet the music that is troubling our dear one, or grant wisdom and favor if there needs to be a gentle conversation with those nearby. We pray You would fill this place with Your peace that surpasses understanding and guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help us to hear Your still small voice above every other noise, and grant restful quiet and undisturbed sleep and worship. Let Your presence bring calm and stillness, that we may be still and know that You are God. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him and to rest in His promise to be our refuge and shelter. If the sound continues, we encourage you to also take practical steps as God leads, such as speaking peaceably with neighbors if appropriate, as Romans 12:18 teaches us to live peaceably with all as far as it depends on us, and to seek times of quiet fellowship with the Lord where He can renew your strength. We trust that He hears your prayer and will provide the peace and quiet you need according to His perfect will.

Your short prayer for quiet has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
There is a rest that remains for the people of God, and it is to be found even now by those who trust in Him. The word of the Lord says, Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him, and again, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Perfect peace is not always the absence of outward sound, but the presence of inward stillness when the soul is stayed upon Christ.
We know how the noise of this world can weary the spirit. In the places of drawing water there was once the noise of archers, the twanging of the bow and the strife of tongues, and the people of God longed for deliverance. So the Lord still delivers His people from discord and gives them songs of deliverance. He can quiet the outward disturbance, and He can also whisper peace within by the blood of Jesus, so that even when duties press and sounds surround us, to do the will of Jesus is rest.
Let us pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour, we ask You to look upon this weary one who longs for quiet. Grant deliverance as it pleases Your wisdom, still the sounds that trouble, and provide a quiet habitation. And whether the outward noise ceases at once or remains for a season, grant that inward perfect peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. Help this dear soul to rest in the Lord, to learn of Christ who said Come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest, and to find that rest for the soul which is present and perfect through faith in His finished work. Teach the heart to muse quietly upon Christ, upon His love and His ransom, and so keep the mind stayed upon You. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
Take time, as grace enables you, to seek a quiet hour for musing upon the Word. Meditate much upon Christ, for faith often comes that way, and with faith comes peace. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and trust Him to keep you in His peace both now and till you enter that perfect rest which remains above, where there is no more disturbance forever.
