We hear your heart's cry for deliverance from this song that has lodged itself in your memory and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring you complete freedom and peace in Jesus' name.
We know how persistent and tormenting an unwanted song or sound can be when it replays in the mind. God understands this struggle and He has given us the way to find victory by renewing our minds in Him. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and in Romans 12:2 that we are transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. He does not want us to be harassed by what we have heard, but to be filled with what is pure and edifying.
We encourage you to actively replace what you want to forget with what honors God. Philippians 4:8 tells us, Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. When the memory of that sound tries to return, turn immediately to worship, to Scripture, and to prayer. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as Colossians 3:16 teaches, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your heart to God. We also take to heart Psalm 101:3, I will set no vile thing before my eyes, and we encourage you to guard what you listen to and allow into your heart, for what we dwell on shapes our thoughts.
We are thankful you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we have victory. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the burden of this song, its sound, its title and its melody that has remained in memory. We ask You in Your mercy and power to deliver and cleanse the mind completely. Wash away this intrusive sound permanently and let it be remembered no more. Fill this mind and heart instead with Your peace, Your Word, and songs that glorify You. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer as Psalm 19:14 says. Grant quietness of thought, restful sleep, and a renewed mind fixed on You. We rebuke any hold this worldly sound has and we claim the freedom that is in Christ. Help our dear friend to walk in discernment, to choose what is holy and to find joy in worship that lifts up Your name. We trust You to answer and to keep this mind in perfect peace because it is stayed on You. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Your prayer for deliverance from this haunting sound and its memory has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.
We know how the mind can be afflicted by thoughts that return day after day, as if under a taskmaster, and how small is the help of man in such a case. Only God can deliver those who are so afflicted in mind, and He is able to do it. He who delivered Israel when the lamb was slain, and who has found a ransom for sinners through the substitutionary sacrifice of His own Son, is able to bring you forth into liberty.
We pray that the Lord will graciously cleanse and renew your mind. Our thoughts are not His thoughts, and our ways are not His ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are His thoughts higher than ours. May He conform your thoughts to His own, which are constant, kind, wise and tender toward His people. May He renew your strength, for our own strength will one day fail us, and we need daily renewing because sin drags us down. Ask Him that He would give you fresh work to do and a nobler tune to sing, that your heart may be filled with more expectancy, more confidence, more faith and more reliance upon God.
Therefore let us pray together:

Guard his heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and let the Word of Christ dwell in him richly, that whatever is pure and lovely and of good report may occupy his thoughts. We ask this not by our own merit but by free grace alone through the ransom You have found. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
