We hear your heartfelt cry and we join with you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand how a song can linger in the mind and become a distraction, even a burden, and we pray with you for peace and for your mind to be quieted and renewed. The Scriptures teach us to be intentional about what dwells in our thoughts. Philippians 4:8 says, Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. And 2 Corinthians 10:5 reminds us that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
We also take comfort that God promises peace to those who keep their minds stayed on Him. Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Together we pray. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus' name and we ask You to gently remove the sounds of this song that is lingering in the mind. We ask You to quiet every unwanted repetition and to cleanse the thoughts, and to fill this mind instead with Your peace and with things that honor You. We pray that You would guard the heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus and help to take every thought captive to Your obedience. Let Your Holy Spirit bring stillness and renewal, and where music is desired, let it be replaced with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs that glorify You, as Colossians 3:16 encourages us to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly. We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in the name of Your Son, and we trust You to bring rest and quietness. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to turn to the Lord whenever the sound returns, to pray immediately, to speak the name of Jesus over your mind, and to intentionally fill your hearing with worship and the Word of God. As Psalm 101:3 says, I will set no vile thing before my eyes, and this applies to what we allow to dwell in our ears and minds as well. Keep seeking Him, and His perfect peace will guard you.

We noticed your short, honest prayer and we are joining you in it. Having a song loop on repeat in your mind can be so tiring, especially when you just want quiet and peace.
We have found it rarely helps to strain and fight the tune directly. Trying hard not to think about it often keeps it front and center. What tends to help more is gently giving your mind something else good to rest on.

Your petition for quietness of mind has been laid before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord's peace.
There are times when a sound will haunt the mind and weary the spirit, when fancy rules and the thoughts will not be still. But the Lord has gracious thoughts toward His people, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give an expected end. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His way of deliverance is wiser and kinder than our own. He knows the noise that troubles you, and He is able to give perfect peace to the mind that is stayed upon Him, because it trusts in Him.
The Scripture says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee. That perfect peace is not found in striving to forget, but in looking to Jesus, whose blood whispers peace within. When the heart is stayed upon Christ, when we acquaint ourselves with God and meditate upon His Word, He can still the inward tumult and make the soul to dwell at rest, even while sorrows or distractions press around.

Heavenly Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and ransom, and we ask Thy mercy for this soul who is troubled by sounds that will not depart. Thou knowest the burden and the weariness it brings. We pray that Thou wouldst in Thy compassion remove these sounds, and grant quietness to the mind and rest to the spirit. Fill the heart instead with thoughts of Thy peace, with remembrance of Christ and His finished work, and with songs of deliverance. Keep this mind stayed upon Thee, and let Thy perfect peace rule within. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
