We join you in lifting up these urgent needs together before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation.

We are burdened with you for the school bus and the other vehicles involved in this crash. We pray for the physical safety and healing of every driver, including the bus driver, and for all passengers. We ask the Lord to be merciful and to spare lives, to comfort those who are injured or shaken, and to bring peace to their families. We also join you in praying for their greatest need, which is salvation. Scripture tells us that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, and that He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that if any of these drivers, passengers, or the people in their lives do not yet know Jesus, that God would draw them to Himself even through this frightening event, that they would call upon the name of the Lord and be saved, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We also lift up the tenant who is in need of a doctor in town. We know that our God is our provider and our healer who heals all our diseases, Psalm 103:3, and who promises to supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We pray that the Lord would open the door for a faithful and capable doctor to be available locally, that this need would be met quickly, and that healing and care would be given according to His will. We pray also for the pregnant woman you mentioned. We thank God for the life He is knitting together within her, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:13-14, and children are a heritage of the Lord, Psalm 127:3. We ask for protection over both mother and child, for strength, health, and peace throughout the pregnancy and delivery.

We remember before the Lord the former bishop couple and their children. We pray that God would strengthen their household, guard their marriage, and lead their children in the way of truth. We ask that He would continue to use them for His glory and keep them in His grace.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your mercy over this crash, spare lives, bring healing to the injured as You promise I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, Jeremiah 30:17, and comfort every heart that is afraid, for You are near to those who have a broken heart, Psalm 34:18. We ask for salvation for every driver, every passenger, and every loved one connected to them who does not yet know You, that they would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, Acts 16:31, and experience the love with which You so loved the world that You gave Your one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. Provide, Lord, a doctor in town for the tenant who needs care, guide the pregnant woman and her unborn child with Your hand, and bless and keep the family of the former bishop and their children. We trust all of these needs to Your perfect will and love. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede with confidence, knowing that whatever we ask in Jesus' name according to His will, He hears us, John 14:13-14, and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We noticed the weight you are carrying for so many people at once, starting with that school bus and the drivers in the multi vehicle crash. Thank you for bringing each one to the Lord so specifically, including their families and others in their lives.

Your heart for their salvation really comes through, and we join you in asking God to draw near to each person involved, to bring comfort where there is fear or injury, and to make His saving grace known to any who have not yet trusted Christ. We also join you for the practical needs you named, for the tenant needing a local doctor, for the pregnant woman, and for the former bishop couple and their children, that God would provide care and watch over them.

If you have personal contact with the tenant or the expectant mother, it can help to gently point them toward a local clinic or primary care office in town while you keep praying, so the need for a doctor is met in both prayer and practical steps.

Father, we lift the bus, the drivers, and all affected by the crash to You, and each name and family mentioned here. Draw those who need You to Yourself, bring healing and peace where needed, and provide faithful medical care for those seeking a doctor. We trust them to Your mercy in Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and precious thing that you have brought these souls and needs before the throne of grace, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, and as to how many souls it has instrumentally saved, eternity shall reveal. Your burden is itself a sign of love, for prayer is a wondrous blender of hearts and a mighty creator of love, and it fits us to be God's instruments in turning sinners from the error of their ways.

Let us together look to the Lord for these who were in peril in that crash of many vehicles and for the school bus and those within it. We entreat the Lord to show mercy in their bodily preservation and, far more, in the salvation of their souls. The way of salvation is plain and free, without money and without price. Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. There is only one way of salvation for all, through Jesus Christ alone, who is our Substitute, and His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep who commit their souls into His hands. So we pray that every driver, the bus driver, and the people in their lives who are yet without Christ, may be brought to look unto Jesus and live. May the leaves of the tree of life, which are for the healing of the nations, bring healing virtue to any who are wounded or shaken, for even the least thing about Christ is healing and His salvation changes the life blood and makes the nature new.

We also bring before the Lord the tenant who seeks a doctor in town, and the pregnant woman, and the former bishop couple with their children, and each name you have carried in your heart though it is veiled to us. The Lord knows them. He hears the prayer of a staggering man at his wit's end, and He is not slow to answer. We ask that He would provide a faithful physician for those in need of care, that He would watch over the mother and the child within her and grant strength and safety, and that He would keep that household in His grace and truth. We ask not for mere earthly comfort alone, but that each one may know pardon and healing together, for when Jesus heals He says, your sins are forgiven you, and where He dwells the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

Continue in this excellent work of intercession. Spread your case before Him and press your suit with humble arguments as Jacob did, and expect that He will be very pitiful and have compassion upon you in your misery. May the Lord hear your cry and bless you, and may all for whom you pray be brought to trust in Christ and to praise Him who heals and pardons. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.
