Beloved of All
Your prayer reflects a heart that is reaching beyond your own needs to bring many others before God, and that is the very essence of intercession. One form of prayer is worship and adoration for who God is, but no prayer is complete until it also moves outward to intercede for a guilty world that needs His mercy and His work in their lives. More is accomplished through that kind of praying than the world will ever see, for it is the real power behind what God does.
There is a beautiful self forgetting way of living that is described as esteeming others better than ourselves, not always looking to our own welfare but also to the needs of others. That is the mind that was in Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for many, and your willingness to carry such a long list of people before the Lord reflects that same spirit.
Prayer always begins with relationship. When we can truly say Father, His ear is open to the cry of His children. If that relationship has not yet been established through Jesus Christ, the one prayer God desires to hear is, God be merciful to me, a sinner. That prayer opens the door to all other prayer, because His name means the Lord our salvation, and He came to save His people from their sins. Salvation comes through Him alone, by His own arm bringing deliverance and by His righteousness which He puts on for us. It is near to all who will turn to Him in repentance and faith, and it is the greatest need for every person you have named.
For those who do not yet know Him, we join you in asking that God would draw each one to Himself, forgive their sins as they turn to Christ, and establish that living relationship where they can call Him Father. For those who are sick or in need of healing, we ask the Lord in His mercy to touch them, knowing that the prayer of faith offered in the name of Jesus is powerful and that when His children agree together concerning a need, He hears. We also ask for comfort and provision for families, children, and all those affected by hardship, loss, or crisis that you mentioned, that God would be their refuge and bring healing where it is needed according to His perfect will.
Thank you for taking up this ministry of intercession. The Lord sees this faithful bringing of others before Him, and He delights to answer as we seek His kingdom and His will to be done on earth. We will continue to pray with you that each person on your heart would come to know Jesus as Savior, walk in forgiveness toward others as they have been forgiven, and experience the assurance and comfort that the Spirit brings as we commune with God in prayer.
Father, we bring before You every name and every need lifted in this prayer. Have mercy on each one who is without Christ and draw them to salvation through Jesus alone. Lay Your healing hand upon those who are suffering in body or spirit, and show Yourself as the One who delivers and sustains. Cause each life to be turned toward You, that they may know Your forgiveness, Your peace, and Your salvation. In the name of Jesus we ask this, amen.
