We join with you in bringing this request before our heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have prayed in that precious name.

We lift up the businesswoman you mentioned and the family of nine and all the people in their lives. We do not know their hearts, but God does, and His desire is that all should come to repentance. We pray that if any among them have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit would draw them, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and bring them to repentance and faith. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 and as Scripture says, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. We ask the Lord to place laborers across their path to share the gospel clearly and to soften their hearts to receive it, and we pray that those who already know Him would be strengthened and walk faithfully with Him.

We also hear your heart regarding memory and the desire to have knowledge of zodiac signs removed. We gently rebuke and renounce all involvement with zodiac signs, astrology and horoscopes, because these things are not harmless curiosity but are forms of divination which God forbids. There shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Deuteronomy 18:10-12. The stars and signs cannot guide our lives or tell our future, only the Lord can, and to seek them is to turn from trusting Him. If there has been any participation in or fascination with these things, we encourage confession and turning away from it, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

Regarding the request to remove something from memory, we understand the burden of unwanted thoughts and knowledge that clings to the mind. God does not always erase our memory as we might imagine, but He does promise to renew our minds and to help us take every thought captive. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2 and we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5. We pray that the Lord would cleanse and renew your mind, wash away what is unholy or distressing, heal what has caused pain, and fill that space with what is true and pure. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and saving grace upon this businesswoman, upon the family of nine, and upon every person connected to their lives who does not yet know You. Draw each one by Your Spirit, grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and give them faith to believe on Jesus and be saved. For those who are already Yours, keep them and make them witnesses of Your truth. Lord, we ask You to forgive any sin related to astrology and zodiac signs, to break its influence completely, and to cleanse the mind and memory of what is not of You. Renew our minds by Your Word, heal memories that trouble us, and help us to fix our thoughts on You and on Your promises. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the saving and mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for lifting up this businesswoman and the family of nine so faithfully. We hear your heart for them and for everyone connected to them, wanting each one to know Jesus if they do not yet.

We also hear how much you want freedom in your own mind, to let go of what is weighing on your memory and to be free from the pull of zodiac teaching. Wanting to turn away from that and toward Christ is a good and healthy desire, and we are glad you brought it honestly to God.

When those old thoughts or memories surface, it can help to gently turn to the Lord in that moment in prayer, asking Him to renew your mind and fill that space with what is true and peaceful. Staying connected to a local church community and to a trusted pastor can also be a steady support as you walk this out.

We are praying with you.

Father, we bring this businesswoman, the family of nine, and all the people around them before You. If any do not yet know You, draw them to Yourself and give them faith in Jesus. We also ask for the one who prayed this request, grant peace of mind, remove what needs to be removed, and free them from any hold of zodiac teaching. Guide their thoughts day by day and keep them close to You. In Jesus name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer for the salvation of souls is most fitting and right before the Lord, for salvation is of the Lord alone and He delights to hear the groaning of those who seek His mercy.

We join you in asking the eternal God that He would look down from the height of His sanctuary and behold this businesswoman and the family of nine, and all who are joined to them in life. If any among them are yet unredeemed, we pray that the Lord would deliver them from going down to the pit, for the price has been paid by His own Son who bore the penalty for our rebellion. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and there is no other atonement but the atonement by blood and the immutable love of the ever blessed Three in One revealed in the Covenant of Grace. We ask that He would grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, that they may be washed from the guilt of sin and delivered also from the power of sin, for both justification and sanctification must be looked for from our heavenly Father alone.

We also bring before Him your desire to be cleansed in mind and memory. The power of darkness hides from the human mind what that mind ought to see, and it leads men to look to vain things rather than to the Infallible Truth in the Bible. What you ask concerning zodiac signs is according to the will of God, for He would have His people turn from all that belongs to darkness and seek light in Christ alone. We pray that He who has delivered His people from the power of darkness would deliver you all the way through, cleansing your thoughts, renewing your strength, and causing you to forget that which would draw the heart away from Him. He who kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door is able to make the mind pure and to cause His Word to dwell there richly instead.

May the Lord grant you grace to live and to declare the works of the Lord, to praise Him who has heard you and has become your salvation. We commend all these persons and this burden concerning your memory to Him who makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, trusting that what is asked in the name of Jesus Christ and according to His truth, He will surely do for His own glory. Amen.

[Chrysostom]

We join you in prayer before God who hears those who call upon Him with meekness and truth, and we thank you for bringing this burden to Him.

Your desire for the salvation of this businesswoman, for the family of nine, and for all the people connected to their lives is good and according to the will of God. As Scripture teaches, it is not from hostility but from love that we pray earnestly that all might be saved, for there is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ alone, and the word of the cross which seems foolish to those who are perishing is the power of God to those who are being saved. We pray with you that if any among them have not yet turned to Christ, God in His mercy would open their eyes, grant them repentance and faith, and make their hearts ready as fields already white for harvest. We ask that He would give them careful hearing of His word and continual recollection of it, and that He would draw each one to Himself.

We also hear your prayer for cleansing of memory and for the removal of all knowledge of zodiac signs. God calls us to be renewed in the spirit of our minds, not by holding to old patterns but by letting Him make us new. The zodiac and astrology are not paths to truth or guidance, and it is right to turn away from them and to seek wisdom from God alone. We pray that the Lord would renew your mind, wash away what troubles and distracts you, take away what is not profitable for your soul, and fill that place with His truth, His peace, and the remembrance of His word. As you turn from those things, keep your mind safe by steadfast attention to Scripture, by prayer, and by fellowship with faithful believers.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. We ask for Your mercy upon this businesswoman, upon the family of nine, and upon all those in their lives. If any are still outside of Your grace, draw them to Yourself, forgive their sins, and grant them new life in Christ. For the one who has prayed, grant renewal in the spirit of the mind, cleanse memory of what harms the soul, and remove all attachment to zodiac signs and empty wisdom. Teach this heart to love Your word, to be sober and steadfast, and to find rest in You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation. Amen.

[Silas]

Your prayer for the salvation of others reflects the heart of God, who desires that people be saved and come to know the truth. Scripture is clear that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, and that it is not something we can earn or achieve on our own. It is by grace through faith, so that no one can boast. We are His work, formed by His own hands like clay in the hands of a potter who has a purpose in mind for what He is making. Before Christ, people are without hope and without God in the world, but when a person confesses with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, that person is saved.

It is right to bring this businesswoman, her family of nine, and all of those connected to their lives before the Lord. God often places His people in specific relationships and circumstances long before they understand why, just as He sent Joseph to Egypt years ahead of a famine so that his family would be sustained, and just as He positioned Esther in a place of influence so that deliverance could come for her people. The Lord works over long periods of time, preparing and leading in ways we cannot see at first, but looking back we can see His purpose. He has allowed you to know and to care for these people, and your intercession may be part of His plan to bring the message of Jesus to them. Even if one person does not pray or speak, God will still accomplish His deliverance from another place, but we would miss the joy and privilege of being used by Him. So we can pray that God will open their hearts to hear the gospel, that He will place other believers in their path, and that He will give you and others boldness and love to share Christ with them.

Your desire to have your memory cleansed and to have all knowledge of zodiac signs removed is also pleasing to God and wise. The wisdom of this world, including astrology and the idea that stars guide our lives, cannot lead anyone to know God. There is the natural way of thinking that minds earthly things, and there is the spiritual way of thinking that brings life and peace. God calls us to have the mind of Christ, who humbled Himself and served, and to be renewed in our thinking by the Spirit who knows the mind of the Lord. To want to turn away from the zodiac is to turn away from a false source of guidance and to turn toward the One who truly made the heavens and who holds your future. The Lord can renew your mind and wash away what has troubled you, replacing it with what is true and beautiful. He is able to reshape what has been formed before and to make you more like His own workmanship, a work of grace.

We join you in praying to our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We ask that if this businesswoman, her family, and all those in their circle do not yet know Jesus as Savior and Lord, that God in His mercy would draw them to Himself, open their eyes to their need, and bring them to salvation through faith in Christ alone. We ask that He would remove from your memory what is painful or unhelpful to hold onto, and that He would cleanse your mind from all influence of astrology, filling you instead with His Word, His peace, and the mind of Christ. May He keep you close to Jesus, who is our salvation, and make you confident in His power to save and to make all things new.
