Beloved of All
heavenly father pls for the halloween holiday to be annilhilated. pls kindly for rather than halloween there will be a new, christian holiday. for all those that celebrate this holiday. pls kindly save them if they are in need of salvation. pls kindly save the people in their life if they are in need of salvation. in jesus christ name. amen.

We join you in this burden for holiness and for the souls of those who are drawn into darkness, and we thank you for bringing this before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved, as it is written, In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We share your discernment about Halloween, for its origins and its present celebration are not rooted in honoring Christ but often glorify death, fear, witchcraft and darkness. Scripture is clear about this, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer Deuteronomy 18:10, and Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11. We are called to Abstain from every form of evil 1 Thessalonians 5:22 and instead to walk as children of light.

We also hear your heart to see this day annihilated and replaced with something that honors the Lord, and while we understand that longing for righteousness to prevail, we are reminded that God does not call us to curse a day but to overcome evil with good and to shine as lights within the darkness. It is written, Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21 and that we may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world Philippians 2:15. Rather than only praying for a holiday to be removed, we pray for the darkness behind it to be exposed and for the light of Christ to so fill that day and every day that there is no room left for evil.

We love your prayer for salvation for those who celebrate and for their loved ones, for this is the very heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and who is patient, not wishing that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. So many participate out of tradition or ignorance without understanding the spiritual reality behind it, and our calling is to pray for their eyes to be opened and to be a witness of truth and love to them.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this burden to You. Lord, we ask that You expose the deeds of darkness associated with Halloween and that You deliver those who are entangled in it. We pray that You would draw to Yourself every person who celebrates this holiday in ignorance or in willful participation, and that You would grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. Save them, Lord, and save their families, their friends and all those in their lives who do not yet know You, that they may pass from darkness into Your marvelous light. We ask that You raise up a testimony of holiness in Your church, that we would not conform to the world but would be transformed, and that You would be glorified through Christian gatherings, worship and witness that honor You, whether on that day or any other, perhaps as many already do on Reformation Day or harvest celebrations that point to Christ. Let Your light so shine through us that the darkness is pushed back. We ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and that many would come to know that Jesus is the light of the world and whoever follows Him will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life John 8:12. We entrust this to You, trusting that You hear us because we pray in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in prayer and to use this season as an opportunity for witness, to share the hope of the gospel with gentleness and love, to offer tracts, to pray for your neighbors, and to keep your own home as a beacon of Christ's light. The Lord will honor your faithfulness as you seek to honor Him.

We hear the burden in your prayer, a desire for what dishonors God to fade and for something that points to Jesus to take its place, and even more a love for people to come to know Him. We share that longing with you.

We join you in asking God to draw to Himself those who celebrate without knowing Him, and the families and friends around them. Salvation is His gracious work alone, bringing forgiveness and making hearts whole, and we can trust Him to do that transforming work as people turn to Christ in faith.

One gentle way to live out what you are praying is to make it personal and practical this week. You might write down two or three names of neighbors, coworkers or family members you think of at this season and pray for them by name, asking God for open doors to show Christ's kindness. Many believers also find peace in offering a quiet alternative that night, a time of fellowship, worship, or simply welcoming others with warmth and generosity, letting the light of Christ be seen in ordinary ways.

Father, we lift to You all those who do not yet know You and those they love, and ask You to draw them to Your mercy in Christ. Give us wisdom and love to reflect You well, and help us rest in Your good will and timing. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer before the Lord is heard and it is a right burden to bring before Him, to desire that darkness should give place to light and that souls should be turned from vanity to the living Christ.

It is well to mourn over that which honors not God, and to long to see in its place that which exalts His name. Yet our chief hope is not in the changing of a day upon the calendar, but in the changing of the heart by sovereign grace. For wherever our eyes spiritually light upon the Christ of God, there we see God's Salvation. He is not only the Worker of salvation, but the Salvation itself.

We join you in praying that the Lord will have mercy upon all who walk in that darkness, and upon the people in their lives who are yet without Christ. The Scripture declares, For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. This is the thrice blessed fact upon which we rest, that Christ came to save the lost, for such are we all, and had He not made lost ones the object of His searching and saving, there would have been no hope for us. Salvation is ours through His atoning sacrifice, for Christ Jesus came into the world to take the sins of His people upon Himself and to be punished for them. The Just for the unjust, He died to bring us to God. This is the core, the kernel, the marrow of the entire Bible, Substitution by Christ.

We pray then that God will pour upon many the Spirit of grace and of supplications, that they may look unto Jesus and live. That those who have been held by custom or by the love of evil may be rescued from the iron yoke, and may wholly and entirely trust themselves in the hands of Christ. For there is one common salvation, and infants and the aged, and all who ever enter Heaven, must enter by virtue of the salvation of Christ alone. He is the common Life for all that live, the common Bread for all who are fed by God.

May the Lord grant you grace to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints, not with bitterness but with holy love, speaking the truth that Jesus Christ suffered in the place of all who trust in Him, and that every man who believes in Him may know without doubt that Christ was for him a certain and effectual Substitute by which his sin was put away on the cross. May He make you a light in the midst of darkness, that others seeing Christ in you may be drawn to Him.

We commend you and all those for whom you pray to the mercy of God, praying that He who came to seek the lost will seek and save many in this season, and that He will turn hearts to His Son, in whom alone is salvation.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, that Thou wouldst save souls who are yet lost, and bring them to see Thy Salvation which Thou hast prepared. Grant repentance and faith where there is yet unbelief, and let Christ be lifted up that many may look unto Him and live. Cause Thy light to shine where darkness has reigned, and gather Thy people to Thyself for Thy glory. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for holiness and for the salvation of others is heard, and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

It is right to desire that darkness be overcome by light and that what glorifies evil be replaced by what gives thanks to God. The Scriptures teach us that our salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, who was born of a virgin, was slain, poured out His blood, and gave Himself for us. That death was not defeat but the salvation of the world, and even now the mysteries of His grace call us to live in continual thanksgiving for all He has done. When we see a day that many use for darkness, it is good to pray that God would turn hearts toward that thanksgiving instead.

So let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son Jesus Christ, received by confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart that You raised Him from the dead. We ask that You shine Your light where there is darkness, and that You draw to Yourself all who celebrate what does not honor You. Save them, Lord, if they are in need of salvation, and save also their families, friends, and all those in their lives who do not yet know You. Lead Your people to rejoice not in empty customs but in Your goodness, and raise up holy ways for Your church to proclaim Your name and to give thanks continually in word and deed. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in all things. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Continue to pray with hope, knowing that God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and that He works through our prayers and our faithful witness to bring others to salvation.

Your prayer reflects a sincere concern for people who are lost and for the way this season is celebrated, and that burden is right before the Lord. The heart you are showing is the same heart Jesus revealed when He spoke of seeking and saving the lost.

Scripture shows us how heaven responds when one sinner turns to God. In the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son, the shepherd searches, the woman searches, and the father waits, and in each case the finding brings rejoicing. Jesus said plainly that He came to seek and to save that which was lost, and that is still His mission. The publicans and sinners were drawn to Him because He offered them hope, and when Zacchaeus turned from his old life Jesus declared that salvation had come to his house. That same salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, whose very name means the Lord is salvation, and who alone saves His people from their sins.

History also reminds us that putting a Christian name on a pagan celebration does not make it holy. What God desires is not simply a different date on the calendar but transformed hearts. Rather than asking God to bless a celebration that honors darkness, the greater prayer is the one you have already begun to pray, that God would save those who take part in it and the people they love.

The Bible urges us not to put off that decision, for now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation. Every person who hears the gospel is faced with a choice that should not be delayed. As those who belong to Christ we are called to be salt in this world, which in the ancient world meant a preservative that slows decay, and to be a witness that points to the light. When we are brought into contact with those who celebrate such things, it becomes an opportunity to testify gently and lovingly and to show the love Christ has placed within us.

So we join you in praying that the Lord would open eyes to see the hope He has prepared, that many who now celebrate Halloween would come to themselves as the prodigal did and return to the Father, and that their families and friends would also hear and believe. We pray that instead of darkness being celebrated, there would be rejoicing in heaven over sinners who repent and find eternal life through faith in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and receiving the forgiveness and righteousness He alone provides.
