We join you in this prayer and bring your request before our heavenly Father together in Jesus' name, for you have asked in the name of Jesus Christ where we have access to God and find mercy and help.
We understand how persistent sounds and music lingering in the memory can be distressing and distracting, and we pray that the Lord will grant you peace and quietness of mind. We ask Him to cleanse and renew your thoughts and to fill your heart with what is good and pleasing to Him.
We pray together, Father, we lift up this dear one to You and ask in Jesus' name that You would remove these sounds of music from memory that are causing trouble, and bring stillness and rest to the mind. Wash away what is unwanted and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let the meditation of the heart be acceptable in Your sight, and renew the mind according to Your will. Help our friend to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and to fix the mind on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report. Fill this heart and memory with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that honor You, so that there is no room for what disturbs. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we thank You for hearing us in Jesus' name, amen.
We are encouraged by the Word which says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and in Philippians 4:8 that we are to think about whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. God has also promised in Romans 12:2 that we will be transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We encourage you to continue to bring this to the Lord in prayer and to intentionally fill your mind with Scripture and with godly music that edifies. As it says in Colossians 3:16 let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and in Ephesians 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, and in Psalm 19:14 let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. When the unwanted sounds return, turn to prayer, to reading the Word aloud, and to worship that honors God, trusting that He is faithful to give you rest and to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We noticed your prayer right away and we have been holding it before the Lord with you. Having a tune loop in your mind can be so distracting and draining, especially when you just want quiet, and we understand why you would ask God to take it away completely.
One thing we have found helpful to share is that trying very hard to force a sound out of our memory often keeps our attention on it even more. It can be gentler and more restful to notice it without fighting it, and then quietly turn our attention to something else in front of us, a simple prayer, a conversation, a task, a walk, or some quiet without music for a while. If there is a particular song or source that keeps bringing it back, stepping away from it for a time can sometimes give your mind more space to settle.
We are praying for you to know God's nearness and peace in this, and for your mind to feel more at rest day by day.

We have brought your prayer before the Lord with you, asking in the name of Jesus Christ that He would grant you peace of mind and deliverance from that which troubles you.
You ask that the sounds of music which linger in your memory might be taken away. Know that the Lord hears the cries of His people, and it is only God who can deliver the mind when it is afflicted and haunted by thoughts that will not depart. Our own strength, whether of body, mind or spirit, if it is our own, will one day fail us, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
The Scripture says, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. And how precious also are His thoughts unto us. When the mind is crowded with sounds and songs that we would forget, we may ask the Lord to conform our thoughts to His thoughts, and to fill us with what is holy and precious. David said, When I awake, I am still with You, and that nearness to God is the place of true quietness.
So we pray that the Lord would cleanse and renew your mind by His grace, that He would lift from you this burden and give you rest. We ask Him to undertake a fresh work in you, and that it may be done to a nobler tune, with more expectancy and more confidence and more God reliance, as you walk in the light of Christ and are cleansed by His blood. May He who delivered His people of old, and who has found a ransom in the substitutionary sacrifice of His Son, deliver you effectually and bring you forth into peace.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
