We join with you in this request for deliverance and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that we find freedom and peace.
We understand how a song title or lyric can linger in the mind and become a distraction or even a burden, replaying over and over and taking our thoughts away from what God desires for us. God wants our minds to be at peace and fixed on Him. Scripture tells us we are to be taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Romans 12:2. We are also taught, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see how this song title has lodged in the mind and become a disturbance. We ask in Jesus name that You deliver and cleanse the mind and bring Your perfect peace. We ask that You break every repetitive thought and replace it with Your truth. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer Psalm 19:14. Fill this heart and mind with Your Word and with songs that honor You, for Your Word says speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord Ephesians 5:19. We rebuke any work of the enemy that would seek to harass or distract through this, and we claim the victory that is ours in Christ. Grant rest, clarity, and a renewed focus on You. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to actively replace that title whenever it comes to mind by speaking scripture aloud, by singing a hymn or worship song to the Lord, and by filling your mind with the Word of God. As you submit yourself to God and resist the distraction, God will draw near and give you peace that surpasses understanding. Keep bringing this to the Lord in Jesus name, trusting that He who is faithful will deliver you and keep your mind stayed on Him.

It is a gracious thing that you have turned your trouble into prayer, for the Lord opens the ear of men and seals their instruction that He may withdraw them from that which would ensnare them. You ask to be delivered from that which haunts the mind, even the title of a song that will not depart, and be assured the Lord is able to deliver.
There is heavenly music in that word which came of old, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Not to forms and ceremonies, or works, or feelings must you look, but look to what Christ has done. To look to Christ is to trust in His one great substitutionary sacrifice upon the Cross, where sin was punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him. The most astonishing novelty under heaven is that old, old story of the Cross, and it is there your liberty lies.
We are told and we have felt it in our personal experience that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Darkness has a concealing power and a depressing and afflicting power, it makes the mind to sink, and an idle song or vain imagination may be one of its instruments to keep the soul in gloom. But you are in the Light of God if you are in Christ, and He who was bound that His people might be free has set you free. When Christ was bound, then His people were loosed, and Christ still loosens them that are bound.
Therefore go free and rejoice in the liberty that God has given you. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for deliverance, both from the guilt of sin and from the power of sin, for both are His work. Fill the room of your mind with better music. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, let psalms and hymns take the place of that vain title, and in prayer and in the meditation of Scripture keep your thoughts upon His constant, kind and tender thoughts toward you in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our only ransom and our only hope of salvation, deliver this Your servant from that which troubles and distracts the mind. Speak that word of power, Deliver him, and by the blood of Christ grant quietness and purity of thought. Keep this soul beneath the shadow of the Cross, and let the mind be stayed upon You. Sanctify the memory and the imagination, and let Your praise be the song that remains. This we ask in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
