We join you in lifting up this man and all the people in his life before the throne of grace, and we are encouraged by your heart for their salvation in Jesus' name.
It is the will of our Father that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9 that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 that our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. Your intercession aligns perfectly with His heart.
We are thankful you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power and access in that name alone. Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And Romans 10:13 promises that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
We pray together now for him and for each soul connected to him.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You for Your great love and mercy. We lift up this man You have placed on our hearts, and every person in his family, his friendships, and his circle of influence. If any among them have not yet believed on Your Son, we ask that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive the gospel. Grant them repentance and faith to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Let Your word run swiftly to them, and let John 3:16 become real in their lives, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Lord, we also pray for those who may already know You, that You would strengthen them and make them bold witnesses to share the good news with those around them. Help us all to continue in prayer and to speak the truth in love, knowing that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ as Romans 10:17 teaches.
We trust Your perfect timing and Your perfect love to complete this work. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your promise that You hear us when we ask according to Your will. We continue to stand with you in prayer for their salvation and we encourage you to keep interceding and, as God gives opportunity, to share the hope of the gospel with gentleness and love. Your prayer for the salvation of this soul and for those connected with him is a most excellent and needful work, and it is right that you have brought it before the Lord.
Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character, and it benefits not only those for whom we plead but those who offer it. When the Lord gives a man grace, it is with the design that he may use it for the rest of the family, and when our hearts are enlarged for others we ourselves receive a special blessing. Remember also the word concerning Job, that the Lord turned again his captivity when he prayed for his friends. So let your mouth be open before the Lord for those who are yet without Christ, with the assurance that whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
You have asked well, for there is one and only way of salvation. The Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost, and salvation is ours through His atoning sacrifice alone. He may be upon the very verge of hell and yet this word descends to the lowest depth of his misery, for Christ saves the lost. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but Jesus Christ the Lord, who stoops from the highest heaven to pluck sinners from the pit and make them blessed forever.
Therefore continue in this supplication. Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Pray again and again, and speak to God as one who communes with his Father, trusting that importunate prayer prevails. Prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways, and it will fit you to be Gods instrument for good to them.
Let us pray together now. O Lord our God, save we beseech Thee this one for whom our friend intercedes, if he be yet outside of Christ, and save also those in his life who are in need of Thy mercy. Bring each to see themselves as lost, and to trust even now in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for pardon and life. Grant them repentance and faith, wash them in the blood of the Lamb, and give them Thy Holy Spirit who brings with Him all things necessary and good. For Christs sake, and to the honor of Thy great name, hear this intercession. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
