We join with you in bringing this burden before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand how distressing it can be when unwanted memories and images linger in the mind, especially from videos that should not have been viewed. We pray that the Lord will cleanse and renew your mind and bring you peace. God's Word teaches us that we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds Romans 12:2 and that we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. He does not always instantly erase our past, but He washes us and gives us power to overcome and to set our minds on things above.
We also hear your desire for purity and holiness, and we encourage you to guard your heart and your eyes going forward. The psalmist prayed, I will set no vile thing before my eyes Psalm 101:3, and we are instructed, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. When troubling memories return, we encourage you to immediately turn to Scripture, to prayer, and to worship, replacing those thoughts with the truth of God's Word. It can also be very helpful to step away for a time from the places that caused the stumbling, such as YouTube, and to put safeguards in place and to fill your time with godly fellowship and the reading of the Word.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You know the names and the images that are troubling this mind, and You see the desire to be clean and free. We ask that You would create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us Psalm 51:10. Wash away what is impure and heal what has been hurt. Help us to forget what lies behind and to focus on what You have set before us Philippians 3:13. Grant perfect peace to the mind that is stayed on You Isaiah 26:3. Give power to take every thought captive to Christ and to dwell on whatever is pure and lovely. Fill this mind with Your Word, Your peace, and Your presence, so that there is no room for the enemy to bring torment. Lead us away from temptation and help us to set no worthless thing before our eyes. We thank You that You are faithful to cleanse us and to restore us. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

When an unwanted name or picture pops up, it helps to not fight it in a panic or follow it further, but to quietly turn away, a brief prayer, then deliberately giving your attention to something else that is true and wholesome and good. Over time, what we consistently turn toward shapes what stays at the forefront.

It is a hopeful and gracious sign when the soul longs to be kept unspotted from the world and to have the mind cleansed. The very prayer you offer shows that the Spirit of God is at work in you, for the carnal mind left to itself loves that which defiles it, but the renewed mind hates the spot and seeks purity.
Scripture teaches us that to keep ourselves unspotted is part of pure religion before God, and that the mind of the flesh is enmity against God. We cannot by mere resolve wash the memory clean, nor can we by our own power drive out images that have lodged there. The work of renewal is a stern work, and indeed it is the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead which must renew the soul. Of His own will He begat us with the Word of Truth, and He alone can beget us anew in thought and affection.
Therefore I would point you to the counsel to let Jerusalem come into your mind. When intrusive memories return, do not merely strive to forget, but seek to remember something better. Let the Jerusalem above come into your mind, because Christ is there. Fill the mind with Christ, with His Word, with His promises, and with heavenly employments, so that there is little room left for that which would stain the soul. When you have seen what you ought not to have seen, turn quickly to that which you ought to see, the face of the Saviour, the truth of Scripture, the remembrance of His mercy who writes His people upon the palms of His hands and never forgets them.
Be watchful also in practice. Guard the eye and the ear, turn away from the places and screens that would spot the garment again, and walk in that charity and purity which are the two great garments of Christianity. Poverty or plenty, trade or leisure, each has its temptations to spot us, and we have great need to be wide awake in order to stay honest and pure before the Lord.
Let us pray for you now.

Grant a gracious renewal, that the thoughts may be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Give strength to turn from every source of impurity, and give a new filling of the heart with Thy Word, that Jerusalem above may come often into the mind, and that Christ dwelling there may be the constant object of affection. Keep this soul unspotted from the world, lively and happy in Thy service, and send on the way rejoicing. In the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour we ask it, amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
