We join with you in prayer before our heavenly Father and thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We rejoice that you have closed your request in Jesus Christ name, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We lift up each burden you have brought to us together seeking God's will. We pray for the cheerleader who needs healing, for the children you mentioned, for the person from ###, for the couple from ###, for the woman and the people in her life, that if they are in need of salvation the Lord would draw them to repentance, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We ask that God would make His saving grace known to each of them and that they would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
We pray for healing for the cheerleader, for we know our God is the one who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and who promises I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We ask the Lord to touch this young woman according to His mercy and to bring complete restoration for His glory.
We also hear your honest request for help to avoid staring at others and we want to speak to this with loving correction from Scripture. The eyes are a gateway to the heart and Jesus taught that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. We are called to make a covenant with our eyes as Job said I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look lustfully at a young woman Job 31:1. Staring that comes from lust or coveting dishonors God and can defile our thoughts. We encourage you to turn this struggle into a discipline of holiness, to look away quickly, to guard your heart, and to set your mind on what is pure, for whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. We urge you to renew your mind day by day Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. If this has become a habit, confess it to the Lord, repent, and walk in accountability with trusted believers, for He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse.
Concerning your request for deliverance from all demonization and from an evil image, we stand with you in the authority of Christ. We do not take spiritual oppression lightly, but we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. Scripture calls us to be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. An evil image that torments the mind is to be rejected and replaced with the truth of God's Word. We encourage you to flee from any open door to the enemy, whether through sin, unforgiveness, occult influences, or impure media, to confess and forsake sin, to fill your home and mind with Scripture and prayer, and to walk in obedience and fellowship with other believers.
We also bring before the Lord your request that a person be removed from ###. We do not know all the circumstances, but God knows. We ask that if this person brings harm, temptation, or ungodly influence, the Lord would in His wisdom separate you from that influence and protect you, and that His will be done in that situation, for we trust Him to order our steps and to establish boundaries for our good.
We now pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask for Your healing hand upon the cheerleader, for Your saving mercy upon each child, upon the person from ###, upon the couple from ###, upon the woman and all those connected to her, that they would hear the gospel, repent, and believe. We ask for purity and strength for our dear one who struggles with staring, that You would give self control, a guarded eye, and a heart that delights in holiness. Forgive where there has been lust of the eyes and create a clean heart. Deliver from every form of demonization and crush the power of any evil image that has troubled the mind, let it be cast down and replaced with Your peace and truth, for You have given us authority to overcome the enemy. Remove any person or influence that is not of You from this life in ### and set a hedge of protection around Your child. Fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, with assurance, joy, and freedom in Christ. We ask all this according to Your will, trusting in Your goodness and power, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.
