Beloved of All
heavenly father pls kindly remove ### from memory so i wont remember the name. pls also kindly save ### and her family if they are in need of salvation. in jesus christ name. amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before our heavenly Father in Jesus name and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come to God and be saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We hear your desire to be released from the remembrance of this name and the thoughts that come with it. We understand how a name can hold memories that weigh on the heart, and we bring this to the Lord who heals and restores. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask Him to bring healing to your mind and peace to your heart, so that you are not tormented by what you wish to forget. Do not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray that God will help you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. We do not ask that He simply erase a memory as if we were machines, but that He would heal the pain attached to it and teach you to dwell on what is true and good and pure, so that this remembrance no longer has power over you. As the Lord says, Do not remember the former things, and do not consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Do you not know it Isaiah 43:18-19. We pray He will help you to press forward, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Philippians 3:13-14.

We also join you in intercession for the woman you mentioned and her family, that if they do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, God in His mercy would draw them to Himself. Our God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that they would hear the good news that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up our brother or sister to You and ask for Your healing touch upon their mind and heart. Wash away the distress and the constant remembrance that troubles them, and replace it with Your peace. Help them to cast all their cares upon You because You care for them, and to walk in freedom and wholeness. We also lift up this dear woman and her family before Your throne of grace. If they are in need of salvation, we ask that You would open their eyes to Your truth, send laborers to share the gospel with them, and draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Save them, Lord, and let them know the joy of sins forgiven and a new life in You. We trust You to do what is best and according to Your perfect will, and we ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest prayer with us. We hear both the ache of wanting to let go of a memory and the love in asking God to save her and her family.

Wanting a name to disappear makes sense when it carries pain. In our experience God often does not simply erase a memory, but He can gently lessen its sting over time as we invite Him into it. The hurt can lose its grip while compassion remains, which is what we hear in your second request.

A small practice that helps many is to let the reminder itself become the prayer. When the name comes to mind, we can briefly turn it over to the Lord as you already have, asking for His mercy for her and her family, and then quietly return to what is in front of us. It is not about forcing forgetting, but about handing the thought to Jesus each time with trust.

We are praying with you for peace in your own heart and for God's drawing near to her family in whatever need they have.

Father, we bring our friend to You and the name that weighs on them. Bring healing and quiet to their thoughts, and pour Your saving grace on this woman and her family as only You can. Lead each of them closer to Jesus. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you.

We understand the burden that presses upon your heart when a name and a memory will not depart from you, and the desire you feel to be free from thoughts that trouble your peace. The Lord does not promise to strike a name from our memory as though it had never been known, but He does promise to renew the mind, to heal the heart, and to keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed upon Him. We will pray that He will guard your thoughts, that He will turn your affections more fully to Christ, and that He will give you grace to think upon whatsoever things are pure and lovely and of good report, so that what now causes you pain may no longer have dominion over you. Christ Himself sits at the right hand of God and ever lives to make intercession for transgressors, and He knows our infirmities and our sorrows, and His interceding breath shall never pause till the last of the redeemed has been gathered home. Go to the mercy seat and remain there, for on your knees you conquer.

We rejoice to hear you pray for the salvation of this dear one and her family. This is a holy and Christlike work, for He came to seek and to save that which was lost. Salvation is not found in any other, nor in any outward form, but in His Person alone. As the Scripture says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is none else. Faith is but a look to Jesus who bore our sins upon the cross, and whosoever trusts in Him with the heart, though it be but a feeble trust, is saved in a moment and kept by the power of God. We will pray that the Lord in His mercy will visit her and her household, that He will open their eyes to see their need of Christ, and draw them to look unto Him and live. Household salvation is a precious blessing, and we have often seen how the Lord is pleased to bring families to know His grace when His people cry unto Him with earnestness and faith.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that in Jesus Christ alone there is salvation, and that whosoever looks to Him shall not be put to shame. We ask Thee to grant to this our friend a quiet and renewed mind, to cleanse the thoughts and to set the heart upon Christ, that he may find rest and strength in Thee. We ask Thee to have mercy upon the one for whom he intercedes and upon her family, and if they know Thee not, to bring them by Thy Spirit to see Christ and to trust Him for eternal life. Work in each heart according to Thy perfect will, and make each to walk in holiness before Thee. Keep us all by Thy grace, and lead us to holiness till we come to be where Jesus is in everlasting bliss. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it, Amen.

Abide in the Word, continue instant in prayer, and trust the Lord to do that which is best and most for His glory. He hears the faintest cry of His people, and He will not turn away any that come unto Him through Jesus Christ His Son.
