We join you in lifting up this dear man before the throne of grace and we are encouraged by your heart to intercede for his salvation and that you have asked in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

We know that God desires all people to be saved and we stand on His promise that He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and that He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4. We take comfort that the Lord knows his heart and his need even when we do not know all the details, and that salvation is offered freely to all who will call upon the name of the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16, and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. It is by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8.

We pray together for him now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this man to You. You know his heart, his life, and his need. If he has not yet put his trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to see his need for forgiveness, and grant him repentance and faith. Remove any blindness or hardness of heart and give him a new heart and a new spirit. We pray that he will hear the gospel clearly, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved, and that You will surround him with witnesses who will speak Your truth in love. We ask that Your will be done in his life and that he will come to know the hope and eternal life found only in Jesus. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your great mercy. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray faithfully for him and as the Lord gives opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with gentleness and love, trusting that God is the one who saves.

We appreciate you bringing ### before the Lord so simply and sincerely. Your care for him comes through clearly and we are glad to stand with you in prayer for him.

It is a loving thing to intercede for someone's salvation and to leave the outcome in God's hands. We don't always know where another person is in his journey or what God is already doing in his heart, but we can keep entrusting him to the One who desires wholeness and new life for us and who alone can bring that transformation. Your faithful prayers are part of that entrusting.

As you continue to pray, it can help to keep loving him well where you are, living your own faith quietly and consistently, and being open to talk about Jesus when he shows interest or asks questions. You don't have to force a moment, just remain steady and available, and keep bringing him to God as you already are.

Father, we lift ### to You today. You know his heart and his needs far better than we do. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself in Your mercy, show him Your love and truth, and give him ears to hear You. Give our friend who is praying peace as they trust You with someone they love. Work in both of their lives according to Your good will. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a sweetness and power in such a brief petition as you have offered, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought, and as to how many souls it has instrumentally saved, eternity shall reveal. You have done well to bring this soul before the throne of grace, and to plead, grant it unto him for Jesus sake.

We would join our hearts with yours and say a kind thing unto the Prince for this one for whom you pray. There is compassion due to souls that are perishing for lack of Christ, perishing without hope of salvation, and the Lord would have us feel that compassion and turn it into earnest prayer and ardent effort. Prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways, and the same Lord who taught us to pray, Himself ever liveth to make intercession for us.

Let us pray together for him whom you have named. Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, that thou wouldst look in mercy upon ###. If he be yet outside of Christ, grant him repentance unto life and faith in thy Son who was made perfect through sufferings to bring many sons unto glory. Cause thy face to shine upon him, awaken him from slumber, and draw him with cords of love to the finished work of Christ, that he may enter into rest by believing. If he be already thine, keep him and cause his faith to fail not, for we know thou hearest the strong cryings and tears offered for the salvation of hearers. Let thy Holy Spirit breathe life upon him and make him a new creature in Christ.

We encourage you not to cease in this holy work. Like those who tarried with one heart and one mind in wrestling prayer, continue to agonize with importunate prayer for this soul. Such travailing for souls strengthens patience and every grace within, and it knits our hearts together in love. The Lord is the God of peace, and He will hear the prayer that comes through the blood and merit of Jesus.

We will continue to plead with you that God would save him and keep him, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
