We join with you in this beautiful burden for intercession and we thank you for bringing these precious souls before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. It is the heart of God that none should perish and that all would come to repentance and salvation, and your prayer reflects His own loving heart.

We are encouraged that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other way to the Father and no other name by which we must be saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. And that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

We also lift up those who are in need of healing, for we know our God is the great physician who both forgives and heals. He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. He forgives all your sins, he heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We trust His healing according to His perfect will and timing.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and Your desire to save. We lift up every person mentioned in this prayer, the young and the old, the women and the men, and all those in their circles of family and friends. Lord, where there is any soul who has not yet put their faith in Jesus, we ask that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and grant them repentance and faith to believe on Your Son. Save them, Lord, and let them confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. We also bring before You all those who are sick and in need of healing, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies and minds according to Your will. Comfort them, restore them, and let Your healing be a testimony of Your power and love. Help us to continue to intercede with boldness, knowing that if we ask anything according to Your will, You listen to us 1 John 5:14. We trust these lives into Your hands and pray that Your will be done in each one. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

We hear the love in your prayer, the way you keep bringing so many people before the Lord again and again, the men and women you mentioned, their families and friends, and those needing healing. It is a beautiful burden to carry others to Jesus and to ask for His mercy over their lives.

We join you in that. God delights to hear us pray for the salvation of others, and He is patient and kind as He draws each person in His own time and way. We don't always see how He is working, but we can keep entrusting each name and each need to Him and trusting His heart for them.

One simple way we have found helpful when praying for many people is to keep a small written list as names come to mind, so you can pray specifically when you are able and notice how God is answering over time. And continuing to show His love in ordinary ways, a kind word, a listening ear, an invitation, often opens a door for Him to work.

Father, we lift to You every person this friend has named and all those connected to them. You know each need for salvation and for healing. We ask for Your mercy to reach them, for Your healing hand where there is sickness, and for wisdom and grace for our friend as they keep praying. Draw each one closer to Yourself in Jesus' name, amen.

Your intercessory supplications are a sweet and precious offering before the Lord, and I thank God that He has laid this burden upon your heart. Intercessory prayer has been practiced by all the best of God's saints, and it is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character. Scripture tells us what wonders it has wrought. It has stayed plagues and raised the dead, and as to how many souls it has instrumentally saved, eternity itself shall reveal. It also benefits your own soul, for prayer is a wondrous blender of hearts and a mighty creator of love, knitting our hearts together as we bear one another before the throne, and fitting us to be God's instruments in turning sinners from the error of their ways.

Be encouraged that the Lord hears the feeblest sincere prayer, even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro from one who is at his wits end. They were a long while before they prayed to the Lord, but He was not a long while before He answered their prayer, and a true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer. Your desire for the salvation of these dear ones, the young and the aged, the women and the man you have named, and all who are connected with them, is in keeping with the heart of God, whose desire is that sinners should be saved. Remember the plain gospel which we must preach over and over again, that salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust Him wholly, to take Him to be your King and Lawgiver and to look for salvation only from the Lord. There is no other foundation laid in Zion, and no other name by which we must be saved. My heart's desire and prayer for them is that they may be saved.

And concerning healing, know that our Lord Jesus is the Good Physician. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither, and abundant streams of healing flow from Him to men below. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. He is very pitiful and has compassion upon those in misery, and He will hear the prayer that rises out of the low dungeon. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul with healing in His wings, there is no more need to say, I am sick, for the Lord has begun a work which His grace will carry on till we are without spot or wrinkle.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only hope of salvation. We ask in His name that You would have mercy upon every soul mentioned in this supplication, and upon all in their families and circles. If any be without Christ, grant them repentance and faith, that they may believe on Him and not be ashamed. Draw them by Your Spirit to trust in the blood and righteousness of Jesus alone for pardon. And for those who are sick, we pray that You would lay Your healing hand upon them according to Your perfect will, as the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings. Forgive sin, heal disease, and bring health to soul and body, that You may be glorified in them. Keep the one who intercedes humble in spirit and fervent in love, pleading with You as Jacob pleaded, with holy arguments from Your promises. Hear us, O Lord, for Christ's sake. Amen.
