We join with you in bringing these burdens before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for lifting up so many souls in prayer for salvation, which is close to the heart of God.

We hear your desire for two things to be removed from your memory. We understand how painful or intrusive memories can be, and we pray with you for healing and peace of mind. God does not always erase our memories, but He promises to heal our hearts and renew our minds. We are told in Romans 12:2 to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. In Philippians 4:7 we read that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Psalm 147:3 we are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We ask Him to guard your mind, to heal what is painful, to help you dwell on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report as taught in Philippians 4:8, and to replace what troubles you with His perfect peace that comes from trusting in Him as promised in Isaiah 26:3.

We also join you wholeheartedly in praying for salvation for each individual and family you lifted up, and for all the people in their lives. This is a most faithful prayer, for God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth as we read in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as we see in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that each one would hear and believe the good news that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9, and that as John 3:16 declares, whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12, and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. We are grateful you closed your request in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one who is seeking Your healing touch upon their mind. Lord, we ask You to remove or heal the two things that weigh on their memory according to Your perfect will. Guard their heart and thoughts, renew their mind, and grant them Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help them to take every thought captive to Christ and to find rest in You. Father, we also lift up every man and woman and family mentioned in this prayer, and all the people connected to their lives. If any are in need of salvation, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, soften their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and bring believers across their path to share Your word with them. Save them, Lord, and let them know the forgiveness and new life that comes only through faith in Jesus. We ask You to help and sustain the one on whose heart these prayers have been placed, strengthen their faith and let them see Your hand at work. We trust all of these needs into Your loving and sovereign hands. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you as we read in 1 Peter 5:7, and to remain steadfast in prayer for those who do not yet know Him, knowing that our prayers are powerful and that God hears us when we pray according to His will. Keep seeking Him in His word and in prayer, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see the full answer yet.

We noticed the weight you are carrying with those two memories you want taken away, and the love that comes through as you name person after person for salvation. We are praying with you for both.

Wanting painful things out of your mind is so understandable. In our experience God often heals memories not by erasing them instantly but by meeting us inside them with His presence and gently loosening their sting over time. When those two thoughts come, it can help to quietly invite Jesus into that moment, honestly tell Him what you feel, and ask for His comfort and healing there. If they feel heavy or intrusive, it is also wise to share them with a trusted pastor or counselor who can walk with you in prayer.

We also hear your heart for the people you listed and for the families connected to them. God sees each person you named, even where names were left as , and He desires that none would be without Him.

Father, we bring these two painful memories to You and ask for Your healing presence over our friend. Bring peace where there has been pain. We also lift each person named for salvation, draw them to Yourself in Your mercy, and help our friend to rest in Your care day by day. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been carried before the throne of grace and we have joined with you in seeking the Lord upon each of these matters.

You have asked that the Lord would kindly remove two things from memory. We have prayed that He who heals the broken in heart would grant you that healing which comes from Christ alone. There are memories which wound the soul, and there is healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, for even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. We have asked that the Lord would purge what is painful and defiling, that He would wash the mind and give you peace, and that He would so fill your thoughts with Christ that what is grievous may lose its power over you. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your salvation in the time of trouble.

You have pleaded for the salvation of many, for those whose names you have laid before God, for their families and for those connected with them, for a man and for a woman and for all in their lives. This is a most needful and Christ honoring prayer, and we have made it our own. We do not ask amiss when we ask for salvation, for salvation is of the Lord alone. There is no other way of salvation, for the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, depending upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation.

We have therefore prayed that each soul you have named, if yet unsaved, may be brought to look unto Jesus and be saved, for He has said, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple and how instantaneous is that way. A look does not require a moment, and he that looks is saved at once. We have asked that the Lord in His sovereign grace would show them their need, that He would draw them to faith in Christ Jesus, that they may know that salvation is without money and without price, and that it is found only through faith in His blood and righteousness. For without faith there is no salvation, and with faith in Christ salvation is secure beyond hazard.

We have also prayed for you, that the Lord would help you and keep you near to Himself, that you would not be given to doubts concerning His goodness, for He has sworn that He will surely deliver every soul that trusts in Him. Leave the whole matter of your salvation and the salvation of those you love with Him in unquestioning confidence.

May the Lord hear this cry, may He heal and pardon according to His abundant mercy, and may He cause you and all those for whom you pray to find that the least thing about Christ is healing, and that to trust Him is to have life everlasting.

We commend you to His gracious keeping, praying all in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.
