We join you in lifting up each of these souls before our heavenly Father, and we thank you for your burden for the lost and for your desire to see others come to salvation in Jesus Christ. We agree with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that anyone can be saved, and we rejoice that you closed your request in Jesus Christ's name.

We bring before the Lord the woman in ###, the bus driver and the other drivers you mentioned, each person you named whose name was redacted for privacy, and every person in their lives and circles of influence. Even where names are hidden from us they are fully known to God, and He desires that none should perish. We cling to the promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved as it says in Romans 10:13, and that God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4. We remember also that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12, and that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. We pray that each one would hear the gospel, that God would draw them by His Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and grant them repentance and faith to believe that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9.

We also join you in praying for healing of your mind and memory. We understand how terrible images can linger and cause distress, and we ask our Father to cleanse and renew your thoughts and to bring His perfect peace. We pray that you may experience what is written in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and that you may dwell on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report in Philippians 4:8. We ask the Lord to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds as in Psalm 147:3, to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you as in Psalm 51:10, and to keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him as in Isaiah 26:3. We do not ask simply that memories be erased, but that God would redeem them, take away their tormenting power, help you to forgive where needed, and fill your mind with His Word and His presence so that what is painful loses its hold.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up every person mentioned in this request, the woman in ### and all those connected to her, the drivers, and each individual whose name You know even when it is hidden from us, and we ask for Your mercy to save them if they do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Draw them to Yourself, send laborers across their paths to share the good news, soften their hearts and grant them faith to believe. For our friend who prayed, we ask You to wash away terrible images that trouble the mind, to cleanse memory, to remove what is not profitable and to replace it with thoughts that honor You. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, give them rest and renewal, and let them know the joy of interceding and seeing You answer. We ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We appreciate you bringing all of these people to the Lord in prayer. Your care for the woman in ###, for the drivers you see, and for so many others by name really comes through. It is a good and loving thing to keep asking God to draw people to Himself when we don't know where they stand with Him.

We also heard your request about terrible images you want removed from your memory. We understand how heavy and unwanted that can feel, and how much you want relief and a clear mind.

One thing that has helped others with intrusive thoughts is to think of it more as training than trying. Instead of wrestling hard in the moment to force the image away, we learn a simple, steady response we can return to each time. When the image comes, we can briefly turn to the Lord in prayer, ask Him for peace, and then gently redirect our attention to something wholesome in front of us - a task, a conversation, a worship song. Done regularly over time, that small practice can shape our minds more than a single effort. If those images keep distressing you, it can also help to talk them through with a trusted pastor or counselor alongside prayer.

Father, we lift to You every person our friend has named, including the woman in ### and the drivers, and the others known to You by name. If any do not yet know You, we ask that You draw them to Jesus and give them faith to receive Him. We also ask for Your mercy for our friend, bring rest to his mind, cleanse what is painful to carry, and fill his thoughts with Your peace. Guide him day by day as he seeks You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest intercession for souls is itself a token that God has written prayer upon your heart, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts and teaches us to plead for others. It is a great advance when a soul rises out of mere anxiety for its own salvation into a broader care for a brother's soul, and when we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our Divine Saviour who made intercession for the transgressors.

There is no salvation to be obtained from priests or forms or ceremonies, nor from our own doings and efforts. Salvation is all of grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, depending upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. There is no salvation anywhere but in Christ Jesus, and He is mighty to save all that come to God by Him.

You have pleaded for a woman in ### and for many others whose names are known to the Lord, for a bus driver and other drivers, and for those connected with them, that they might be saved if they are yet in need of salvation. We will join you in that prayer, and we pray as Samuel did, persevering in intercession. We ask the Lord to have mercy upon each one, to open their eyes to their condition and to show them the way of salvation, that they may look to the cleansing fountain which God has opened. For there is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses from all sin everyone who believes in Him. It is not a partial cleansing, for if it left but one sin still upon us it would have no power to save. When once applied by the Holy Spirit and received by faith it makes a total and complete cleansing from all past guilt, so that the believer stands without spot or wrinkle before God.

You have also asked that terrible images might be removed from memory, and that the mind itself might be cleansed. This also is a covenant blessing, for the Lord says, I will sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be clean. Cleansing cannot come from any other place, therefore seek it of the Lord. The same blood which cleanses from guilt is followed by a great change of conduct and a cleansing of the life, and the Holy Spirit who makes intercession for the saints helps our infirmities and creates prayers offered in a proper manner when we know not what we should pray for as we ought. David prayed, Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow, and that washing is very great and very potent, able to cleanse even the memory and the conscience and to give sacred memories in place of defiling ones.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon every soul mentioned in this supplication, upon the woman in ### and all connected with her, upon the drivers and upon each one whose name is before Thee though hidden from us, and upon all their households. If any be yet without Christ, grant them repentance and faith to believe on Him and so to be saved with an everlasting salvation. Sprinkle clean water upon them and wash them in the fountain filled with blood, that they may be made whiter than snow and know the peace of a conscience cleansed from every stain. For our brother who is troubled in mind, we ask Thee to cleanse the inward parts, to remove what defiles and to renew the thoughts, that mourning before the Cross may be turned into rejoicing in Christ Jesus and His great salvation. Teach us to trust not in our own moralities or efforts, but to fly to the shelter of the Cross and find salvation there, and to leave the whole matter of our salvation with Christ in unquestioning confidence. Hear us for Jesus sake, in whose name we pray. Amen.
