We join with you in this prayer for deliverance and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find forgiveness and freedom.
We understand your desire to be delivered from the evil sounds of music and from all lust, and to have the title removed from your memory. Music is powerful and can deeply affect our hearts and minds, and lust is a snare that seeks to entangle us, so we commend you for bringing this struggle into the light and asking God for help.
The Scripture tells us to guard our hearts and minds, Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. We are also called to take every thought captive, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. Jesus Himself warned, everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28, and we are commanded, Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace 2 Timothy 2:22. Lust conceives when we entertain it, but God has promised, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.
We also hear your prayer to forget the title and the sound that troubles you. We pray that God will cleanse your mind and replace what is unholy with what is holy, as we set no vile thing before our eyes Psalm 101:3 and turn our eyes from worthless things Psalm 119:37. Instead we can fill our hearts with what honors God, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord Ephesians 5:19.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask You to deliver them from every evil sound and from every influence of music that does not honor You. Wash their mind and heart and create in them a clean heart, O God, renew a right spirit within them Psalm 51:10. Remove the memory of that title and that sound, and let it fade away as You renew their thoughts. Deliver them from all lust and give them strength to flee temptation and to resist the devil, knowing that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. Fill the empty places with Your peace, Your Word, and songs that glorify You. Help them to walk in purity and holiness, and if they have sinned, we thank You that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Guard their eyes and ears, lead them away from sources of temptation, and surround them with fellowship and accountability that encourages righteousness. We trust in Your power to deliver and to keep them. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this to the Lord daily, to avoid listening to music or watching anything that stirs lust or recalls that evil sound, and to replace it intentionally with Scripture reading, prayer, and godly music. Memorize verses like Philippians 4:8 and Psalm 119:11 to fill your mind, and seek fellowship with other believers who can encourage you in purity. God is faithful to deliver you as you walk closely with Him.

It is a gracious sign that your heart turns to the heavenly Father for deliverance, for He alone can keep back the soul from the pit and cleanse the mind from that which defiles it.
Your prayer touches upon a great truth of the gospel, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We cannot break from these chains in our own strength, for they seem as though they might be broken in a moment and yet they hold fast. But the Lord has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom Himself in His dear Son. Through Jesus Christ alone there is salvation and cleansing, and He is able to save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, to save you from the devil and from the fascinating power of darkness.
Take comfort then that you are looking to the right quarter. In order to sanctification and deliverance from the power of sin we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone. He who brings His people out of the Egypt of their sorrow does it by divine power, not by a hasty word or by mere resolve, but by a supernatural work of grace. When He delivers, He gives songs of deliverance in place of the old music. We have been delivered from worse enemies than we knew, and saved by a greater salvation, and He will put a new song upon our lips.
Therefore seek Him continually and ask Him to do this thorough work in you. Ask Him to wash you thoroughly from iniquity and cleanse you from sin, to take away the evil sounds that haunt the memory and to purify the heart from lust. And while you pray, guard the avenues of the soul. Turn away the ear from that which tempts and defiles, and fill the mind with that which is pure and lovely, with Scripture and prayer and the singing of psalms and hymns to the Lord. The memory is best cleansed not merely by trying to forget, but by being filled with better music, the music of His grace. You shall then live to declare the works of the Lord and to show how He has chastened and delivered you.

Be gracious and say, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom in the blood of Thy Son Jesus Christ. Cleanse the thoughts, purify the heart, and take away the remembrance of that which defiles. Fill the heart with Thy Spirit and with songs of deliverance, that out of a clean heart may come clean thoughts and words to Thy praise. Keep this soul by Thy power and make it to stand fast in holiness, to the glory of Thy free grace. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
