We join with you in this cry for deliverance and we thank you for humbling yourself to bring this struggle into the light, for God desires truth in the inward parts and He is faithful to cleanse us when we confess our need to Him.
We understand the weight of lust and how a song, a title, a melody or lyric can lodge itself in the mind and stir up impure thoughts. The Word tells us that lust conceives and gives birth to sin, and that everyone who looks at another with lust has already committed adultery with them in their heart Matt 5:28. We are commanded to flee sexual immorality 1 Cor 6:18, not to entertain it or reason with it, but to turn away completely. For God has not called us to impurity but to sanctification 1 Thess 4:7, and we are to make a covenant with our eyes as Job did Job 31:1 and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Cor 10:5.
This deliverance comes not by our own willpower but by the power of the Holy Spirit as we walk by the Spirit and so we will not gratify the desires of the flesh Gal 5:16. We must renew our minds and not be conformed to this world Rom 12:2, filling our hearts and minds with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report Phil 4:8. When we hide His word in our hearts we have strength against sin Ps 119:11, and He promises that no temptation has taken us except what is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow us to be tempted above what we are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it 1 Cor 10:13.
We encourage you to cut off the sources that feed this lust, to turn away from music, images, or places that stir it up, to replace that song title with worship and Scripture and praise, and to seek accountability with a mature believer who can pray with you and help you stand firm. If you have not already, confess any indulgence in this lust to the Lord, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up our brother to You. We ask You to create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him Ps 51:10. Your honest cry for deliverance has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord who is gracious and who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom.
There is hope for one who feels the power of lust and the snare of unclean thoughts, because deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No mere resolve of the flesh can break these chains. If you have been born again from below you will go below, you must be born again from above if you are to go above. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free, for He has borne the penalty of all our iniquities and His blood is the ransom which God Himself has provided and found.
We pray that the Lord will keep you unspotted from the world and preserve you from evil. The Christian never expects to get any good from the world, and when you find that a song, a title, an image, or company stirs up lust or draws the heart toward darkness, turn away from it. Of what service can it be to you. Get away from it, that you need not be muddied. Cry to God daily to preserve you, and fight against sin till it is utterly put away from you, for there shall never enter into heaven anything that defiles.
Take this as your comfort, that your affliction is known to your heavenly Father who sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. He has taught many the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, and He is able to deliver you from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness itself. Look to Him altogether and alone for sanctification as well as for pardon.
So we pray for you now, that our heavenly Father would deliver you from all lust and from every snare that clings to your mind through that song, that He would cleanse your thoughts by the washing of His Word, that He would fix your heart upon Christ and His perfect gift which comes down from the Father of Lights, and that you may live and declare the works of the Lord. May He keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing, and give you grace to walk in purity as one who has been bought with a price.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord. It is good and right that you want to be delivered from lust, for God calls us to purity and He is faithful to help those who sincerely seek Him.
Scripture tells us that no temptation has taken hold of us except what is common to humanity, and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that you can endure it. That way of escape is found as you turn continually to Christ, remain in prayer, and walk in obedience.
Lust is a powerful desire that can enslave the heart, but God has not left you to fight it alone. He often allows temptations to remain for a time not to harm you, but to draw you closer to Himself, to teach you to persevere in prayer and to depend fully on His strength. When you cry out to Him and do not give up, even if deliverance does not come in an instant, He is shaping your heart and keeping you near Him.
I pray with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I ask for mercy and deliverance for the one who has prayed. Wash away sin through the blood of Jesus and make this heart clean. Break the power of lust and set this soul free from every image, thought, and memory that clings to the mind, including the title of this song that has become a snare. Grant strength to cut away excess and to live in moderation and self control. Fill the mind with what is pure and holy through Your Word, and teach these feet to flee from every occasion of temptation. Give perseverance in prayer, and provide the way of escape whenever temptation comes, so that Your child may stand firm and walk in purity.
