Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in bringing this burden before the heavenly Father, even though you have kept the details between you and Him. He knows fully what this something from ### is, whether it is a sin, a memory, a consequence, a record, or a lingering pain, and nothing is hidden from His sight. We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are reminded that God does not want us to carry old burdens that He has already provided a way to remove. If this is sin or guilt, His promise is sure in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And in Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. If it is pain or shame that still clings to you, He invites you to let Him make you new, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. He also calls us to look forward in hope, as in Isaiah 43:18-19 Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

We pray together now for you. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You and we bring before You this matter from ### that weighs on their heart. You know what it is by name and You know the depth of it. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that if it is sin that needs confessing, You would bring full repentance and assurance of forgiveness, and cleanse them completely. If it is guilt that You have already forgiven, help them to receive Your forgiveness and walk in freedom and not carry condemnation any longer. If it is a consequence, a record, a relationship wound, or a spiritual oppression lingering from that year, we ask for Your mercy to remove it according to Your will, or to redeem it and use it for Your glory. Teach them to do as Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14 Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Grant peace, closure, and a renewed mind, and let them know that Your grace is sufficient and Your love covers them. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to be fully honest before the Lord in private prayer, naming this something specifically to Him and asking Him to search your heart. If there is any unconfessed sin tied to it, confess it plainly and turn from it. If you have already confessed it, trust that He has removed it and do not let the enemy keep you in shame. If this burden involves another person or a practical matter, seek wise and godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you. Trust that God in His sovereignty can remove what needs to be removed and can also bring healing where removal would not serve His greater purpose for your growth. Keep seeking Him daily in His Word and in prayer through Jesus, and rest in the assurance that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

We hear how long you have carried this. Since 2012 is a long time to hold something heavy, and we are grateful you brought it to the Father so honestly, even in just a few words. He knows exactly what the something is, even when it feels too tangled or painful to describe fully.

It makes sense that you would want it removed. When a memory, regret, hurt or habit stays with us for years, it can shape how we see ourselves and how we come before God. Bringing it into the light with Him is a good and brave step.

One simple next step that helps many people is to set aside a quiet moment this week to name before the Lord as specifically as you feel able what you are asking Him to take away, whether it is guilt, pain, consequences, or a pattern you want freedom from. You do not need perfect words, just honest ones, and if it feels too heavy to hold alone, consider sharing it with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you in person.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You have seen this burden since 2012 and You know every detail. We ask for Your mercy, Your cleansing and Your peace to rest on them. Help them to know they are heard and loved in Christ, and lead them step by step into the freedom and healing You desire for them. In Jesus name, amen.

There is forgiveness with God, and it is to Him you have done well to come. Your brief cry, that He would kindly remove something from ###, tells of a burden that has lain upon you for many years, and He who hears in secret understands the weight of it even when words are few.

You must know that with God there is not a partial or uncertain forgiveness, but a complete one. When a repenting sinner looks to Jesus Christ, the tally is destroyed, the record of debt is nailed to the Cross, and the sin is put away never to be mentioned against him again. As soon as you trust in your crucified Savior, all your sins are forgiven, whether past, present, or to come. The one pardon avails for the past as well as for what follows, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He never plays fast and loose with men. What He forgives, He forgives absolutely, irreversibly, eternally.

You cannot bear the burden of your own sin, only Christ can do that, but you can bring it to Him. Do as you are taught in the creed and say with faith for yourself, I believe in the forgiveness of sins. Do not carry this thing from ### upon your own back, fretting and asking another to carry what Christ alone is appointed to bear. Come with a penitent heart, confessing plainly what it is before the Lord, turning from it, and trusting wholly in the blood of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found.

If this something of which you speak is sin, and the conscience tells you it is, then know that there is forgiveness with Him, broad and without limit, and it is to be had now, at this moment, through Jesus His Son. Where the offense went, from that very place the forgiveness comes, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared.

Let us pray together. O Lord, Thou art He who blotteth out transgression for Thine own sake. Look upon this soul that has carried a burden since ### and give the peace that comes by forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone. Grant repentance where it is needed and faith to lay hold on Christ, that the burden may roll from the shoulder never to return, and that a life cleansed may henceforth be lived to Thy glory. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing this burden from ### before our heavenly Father.

God knows what you mean even when words are few. He sees what happened in that year, whether it is guilt, pain, a memory, a consequence, or a wound that still weighs on you, and He invites you to bring it openly to Him. Scripture says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and that as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us when we turn to Him through Jesus Christ.

Do not think that time alone removes what needs His mercy. What God desires is not only that a burden be taken away, but that the heart be healed. Godly sorrow works repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. If there is sin in what happened, bring it into the light with honest confession and turn from it. If there is hurt done to you or by you, ask for His forgiveness and for grace to forgive as you have been forgiven. If it is a memory or consequence that still troubles you, ask Him to cleanse your conscience and to give you peace.

Healing often comes not by one moment alone but by a steady life with Him. Give yourself to careful hearing of His Word and to continual remembrance of it, to fortitude in doing what is right, and to letting go of what keeps you bound to the world. Our senses are trained by hearing the Scriptures again and again, today and tomorrow, until we learn to discern what is good. Do not despair if change has seemed slow. Many have heard the Word many times without feeling fruit, and then at last God has brought forth abundant fruit in them. Even at the very gates of distress, it is possible to recover and lay hold on eternal life through Christ.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, You know the thing from ### that this heart is carrying. Nothing is hidden from You. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son who died and rose again and who alone is our salvation, that You would have mercy. Forgive what needs forgiveness, cleanse what needs cleansing, heal what is wounded, and remove the weight of guilt and shame. Give a repentant heart where repentance is needed, and give peace where peace is needed. Teach this dear one to walk daily in Your Word, to remember Your promises, and to grow in strength and holiness. Let this burden become a testimony of Your grace and restoring power. In Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in the Scriptures, and if this burden involves another person or an ongoing situation, seek wise and faithful counsel from a pastor who holds to the Word of God, so you may walk in the light and know the freedom Christ gives.
