We join you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father and we are encouraged that you have asked in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14.
We know the desire for work is good and God honors diligent labor. We take comfort in His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19. He also calls us to seek Him first, for it is written But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33. When we commit our work to Him, He directs our steps. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Prov 16:3.
We encourage you to continue to seek diligently, to use the gifts God has given you, and to trust His timing and provision. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Col 3:23. We know God has plans for you, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11. Even as you wait, remain faithful in prayer, in readiness, and in stewardship of what He has already placed in your hands.
We pray together for you.
Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the need for a job and the desire to work and provide. We ask that You open the right door of employment according to Your will, a place where our friend can labor with honesty and diligence and glorify You. Grant favor with employers, grant wisdom and clarity in applications and interviews, and grant peace while waiting on Your provision. Help us to trust You fully and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing You will supply what is needed. Lead us to work that sustains and that allows us to serve You and others well. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about work. We know how heavy it can feel to wait for a door to open, especially when bills and daily needs are pressing.
We want you to know your value is not measured by a paycheck. You are seen and cared for by God even in this in between season, and we are standing with you in it.
If it would help, one steady next step is to invite one other person into the search with you this week. That could be a pastor, a trusted friend, or someone at a local job center or church employment ministry who can look over your experience with you and help you think through what fits your skills and where openings might be. Having another set of eyes and someone to check in with can make the search less isolating and help you keep a clear routine while you wait.
We are praying for you and will keep praying.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You know the need for work and provision. Give wisdom for each application and conversation, peace in the waiting, and Your clear leading to the right opportunity in Your timing. Provide for daily needs and remind this heart that You are near and faithful. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your prayer for work has been brought before the Lord and we join you in asking our heavenly Father to provide for your need in His wise providence.
We are reminded of Job, of whom it is written that in all his affliction he sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. The Lord tried him and afterwards turned his captivity when he prayed. So our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our need, for the Lord knows how to deliver and to provide. He that clothed Job with honour and afterwards restored to him twice as much is the same God who sees your want of employment this day.
We pray that the Lord will open a door for honest labour where you may work with diligence and quietness, providing for your own and showing forth the grace of Christ in faithfulness. May He grant you favour in the sight of employers, wisdom to use the gifts He has given you, and patience to wait upon His timing, knowing that every good gift cometh from the Father of lights.
Let us pray. O Lord our God, Thou knowest the need of this soul who asks for work. Thou art Jehovah Jireh, the God who provideth. Look in mercy upon this petitioner and in Thy good time grant suitable employment, that by honest industry there may be daily bread and opportunity to serve Thee. Keep this one from discouragement and from unbelieving speeches, and give a heart to trust Thee and to seek first Thy kingdom. We ask this not for merit of our own, but alone through the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only Saviour and Advocate. Amen.
Continue to search the Scriptures and to wait upon the Lord in prayer, and be diligent in seeking as well as asking, trusting that He who heareth prayer will order your steps aright.
