We join you in lifting this burden to the Father and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have deliverance and access to God. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We hear your cry to be delivered from the evil eye, from demons, from demonization, and from the torment of a song that seems to haunt your mind with its title and sounds. We want to encourage you that our God is not distant from this struggle and that demonic oppression is real, but the power of Jesus Christ is far greater. Scripture tells us, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 and For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
We also gently correct the idea of the evil eye as it is often understood in culture. The Bible does not teach us to live in fear of a superstitious curse from another person's look, but it does teach that evil spirits seek to oppress and deceive. Our protection is not in charms or rituals, but in Christ alone. When we belong to Him, no curse or demonic power can separate us from His love and no weapon formed against us will ultimately prevail, for The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Every weapon that is formed against you will prevail not. Isaiah 54:17
Concerning the song that torments you, we understand how music can open a door to oppression and can loop in our minds. God calls us to guard what we hear and to fill our minds with what is pure and holy. We encourage you to renounce and remove any music that glorifies darkness, immorality, or the demonic, and to replace it with worship and the Word of God. As it is written, Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 We also take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 When an ungodly sound returns to your mind, speak the name of Jesus aloud and replace it with a hymn or scripture.
We must resist the enemy by submitting ourselves fully to God, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 We encourage you to walk in repentance, to confess any known sin, to forgive those who have harmed you, and to close any open doors through prayer and turning away from what does not honor God. If you abide in Him, you can claim the promise, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2
We pray together for your deliverance now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask You to forgive all sin and cleanse through the blood of Jesus. We renounce every evil influence, every demonic assignment, every spirit of torment and fear, and every effect of that song and its sounds that has lodged in the mind. We command in the name of Jesus Christ that every evil spirit must leave and go to where Jesus sends it and not return. Fill this mind and heart with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and with Your Word. Let Your light drive out all darkness. We declare that You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt us. Luke 10:19 Let this loved one rest securely in Your hand, knowing that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:38-39 We ask for a sound mind, a peaceful sleep, and a joyful heart that sings to You alone. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm daily by putting on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, by reading Scripture aloud, by praying continually, by worshiping, and by fellowship with Bible believing Christians who can pray with you in person. If the torment persists, seek pastoral counsel from a mature, biblically grounded church. Keep declaring the name of Jesus over your mind and your home, for at that name every knee must bow and darkness must flee.
