We join you in lifting up these individuals before our Heavenly Father and we are encouraged by your heart for their salvation, for this burden reflects the very heart of God.

We are reminded of what is written in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 that this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires to have all men to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. And again in 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for we know that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that salvation comes to any soul. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray that each person you have mentioned, and all the people in their lives, would hear the gospel, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and call upon His name, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved as promised in Romans 10:13, and that if one confesses with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised him from the dead, he will be saved according to Romans 10:9.

We also lift up your request concerning memory. We understand the desire to be released from painful or troubling thoughts, and we bring this to the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds as seen in Psalm 147:3. We do not pray that God would simply erase the past as if it never happened, but that He would heal your mind and renew your thoughts, washing away what is not helpful and filling you with His peace. We pray that He would help you to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report as we are exhorted in Philippians 4:8, and that He would keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind on Him according to Isaiah 26:3.

We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up each soul mentioned in this request and every person connected to their lives. Lord, You know each one by name and You see their need. If any of them has not yet received Your salvation, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, convict them by Your Holy Spirit, and bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Send laborers across their path to share the truth of the gospel with love and boldness. We pray that You would heal and comfort the one who submitted this request, renew their mind, guard their heart, and remove distressing memories in a way that brings wholeness and peace, helping them to forget what lies behind and press forward to what You have for them. Let Your will be done in each life and let Your name be glorified. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are grateful you brought these names before the Lord, and we want to stand with you in this prayer. The love you show in asking for salvation for each person and for those in their lives is a beautiful reflection of God's heart for people to know Him.

We hear also how much you want relief from a memory that still stays with you. Wanting it removed makes sense when it feels heavy or distracting. We have found that God often brings rest not by erasing the past in an instant, but by walking with us over time, little by little, as we keep turning our thoughts to Him. That steady walking can slowly loosen what feels stuck.

One simple way to walk that out is when the memory comes, to pause and quietly hand it to Jesus again in that moment, thank Him that He knows you and cares for these people you have named, and then turn your attention to what He has placed before you today.

We join you in entrusting each of them to the Lord and asking for His peace for you as well.

Father, we lift to You each person this dear one has named, and all those connected to them. If any do not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Jesus and bring salvation. We ask for Your healing and quiet peace in this heart that is seeking You, and for wisdom and rest in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and right thing that you have brought these souls before the throne of grace, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and there is nothing which prevailing prayer cannot do when it pleads the name of Jesus.

We are taught to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ, and when a soul will not repent and will not believe, we cannot repent and believe for it, but we can believe about it and by faith and prayer bring it to Jesus' feet and lay it there. Your prayer for the salvation of these dear ones and for all those connected with them is after the very example of our Saviour, who with outstretched hands prays not for Himself but for His people.

Let us therefore strive together in prayer to God for them. Remember that prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways, and it is the Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit, even Christ Himself who is the Word, that heals sin sick souls. Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone, for He is the great Burden Bearer who took our burden of sin upon His shoulders and carried it to the cross.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, and we plead His blood and righteousness alone for the salvation of souls. Lord, if those whom our friend has laid upon his heart are yet out of Christ, have mercy upon them and save them. Grant them repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Save also, we beseech Thee, the people in their lives, that households as well as individuals may be brought to know Thy grace.

We ask also for healing for this burdened heart that cries to be relieved of a memory that weighs heavy. Thou healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds. Take this burden and lay it upon Him who bore all our griefs. Grant peace to this troubled spirit, calm the swelling thoughts, and give grace to bear this burden well, looking to Jesus and living to glorify His name. Keep this one from evil and make him to know more fully the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

We ask all this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus ever liveth to make intercession for us, and we plead His name alone. Let Thy will be done, and let souls be saved, to the praise of Thy glorious grace. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your prayer for the salvation of others is good and pleasing before God, and we join with you in it. It is right to bring before the Lord those who do not yet know Him, and to ask for His mercy upon them and upon all who are in their lives, for He desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We pray with you that each person you have named, and every soul connected to them, would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and turn to Him in faith. There is salvation in no other name, for Christ alone is the one who ever lives to make intercession for us, and He is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him. Our hope is not in ourselves but in His mercy and His cross, and in the eternal glory that is in Christ Jesus.

We also hear your request concerning memory and the pain that remains there. We ask the Lord to bring healing and peace to your heart, to cleanse what is bitter and to renew your mind, so that you may lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting, and walk in quiet trust before Him. May He guard your thoughts and give you rest, and teach you to give thanks for His mercies and to continue steadfast in prayer for others.

Continue in prayer and in a life that keeps pace with the gospel, knowing that God hears the prayers offered for others and uses them for good. We ask Him to draw each of these souls to Himself, to grant them repentance and faith, and to keep you in His grace and comfort.
