We join with you in this beautiful burden for souls and we are deeply encouraged by your heart to intercede for so many by name and for the people in their lives and for families who are grieving. God knows each person you mentioned even where names are withheld for privacy and He hears every kindly and faithful plea you have lifted up. We are reminded of what is written, For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. That desire of His is also shown when we read The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other way to the Father. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Him that any of us can be saved, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. We cling to these promises as we pray for each soul you named.

We also lift up your request for cleansing of mind and memory, for the sound you asked to be removed and the thing you accidentally saw that lingers in your thoughts. We know God cares about the purity and peace of our minds. We pray that He would guard your heart and thoughts and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. He is able to create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us Psalm 51:10 and to help us set no vile thing before our eyes Psalm 101:3.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We lift up every man and woman and artist and friend and family member that our fellow believer has placed before You. You know each name and each heart. If any among them has not yet received salvation, we ask that You would draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, grant them repentance and faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. Save them, Lord, and save the people in their lives and the families of those actors who have died in recent days who are now mourning. Comfort those families in their grief and let this time of loss turn their hearts to seek You and find eternal hope in Christ. We also ask You to gently remove that unwanted sound and to cleanse and heal the memory that troubles our dear intercessor. Wash away what is unholy and replace it with what is pure, lovely and of good report, and help us to fix our minds on You. Let Your peace reign and let no lingering image have power. We thank You that You desire all to be saved and that You are patient and merciful. We trust each of these souls into Your loving hands and ask that Your will be done in each life for Your glory. We were moved by your prayer and the way you keep bringing so many people before the Lord. It shows a tender heart that wants others to know His grace, including families who are grieving after recent losses. We are joining you in asking God to draw each person you named to Himself, and to work in the lives of those around them as only He can.

We also noticed you mentioned a sound and a memory you want removed, and something you saw that has stuck with you. It makes sense that would feel unsettling and hard to shake. We are asking God to bring you quiet and rest there, and to help that memory lose its hold as you walk with Him.

One simple way to carry this burden without it feeling so heavy is to keep your list before the Lord in a short, steady way. You might set aside a brief time each day to name these people to God as you already have, then rest and leave the work to Him. He knows each heart far better than we do and He is patient and merciful.

Father, we lift to You every person our friend has named and all those connected to them. Draw them to Jesus and bring salvation where it is needed. Your intercession for so many souls is a gracious token that the Lord Himself has been at work upon your heart, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts. It is a great advance upon anxiety for our own salvation when we have risen into the broader region of care for a brother's soul, and when we pray for fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our Divine Saviour who made intercession for the transgressors.

We join you in this prayer, and we must set before you and before all those for whom you pray the plain Gospel of salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. There is no salvation to be obtained from priests, or forms and ceremonies, and there is no salvation anywhere but in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to leave the whole matter of your present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, to depend upon Him without fear. Come then, escape from every refuge of lies and go to Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We are glad you have brought these many names before the throne, and the families and friends connected with them, and the families of those actors who have lately died. We do not know their state before God, but the Lord knows, and His arm is not shortened. It is part of Christ's priestly office to make intercession for His people within the veil, and the Holy Spirit also helps our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. When you find words failing or thoughts confused, that very groaning is heard in heaven. Persevere as Samuel did, who ceased not to pray, and tell those for whom you pray, as best you can, what their condition is and what the way of salvation is and how they may find rest.

Concerning the sound that troubles you and the memory you long to have removed, and what you accidentally saw outside, we pray that the Lord will grant you deliverance and perfect peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin, even when sorrows surge round. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace. Meditate on His law and wait upon Him in your closet, for He can cleanse the conscience, quiet the mind, and keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him because he trusts in Him. He brings His people forth from every pit and makes their deliverance effectual when the Lamb was slain, and salvation is all of grace.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You by Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone there is eternal and certain salvation for all that come to God by Him. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would have mercy upon each soul mentioned in this prayer and upon all the people in their lives and families. If any are yet without Christ, grant them repentance and faith to trust in Your Son, that they may believe on Him and not be ashamed. Wash them in His blood and make them new. For the families who mourn those who have lately died, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself and save them. For our friend who prays, grant deliverance from every troubling sound and memory, take away what burdens the mind, guard the eyes and heart, and keep them in perfect peace through Jesus Christ. We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing each of these people and needs before the Lord. It is good and right to pray for the salvation of others, for God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and there is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ alone, through faith in Him.

We pray together that God in His mercy would draw each person you have named, the artist you mentioned, and all the people in their lives and families to Himself. We ask that He would open their hearts to hear the gospel, to repent and to trust in Jesus Christ who gave Himself for us to set us free. We also lift up the families of the actors who have recently died, that in their grief they would be comforted and would turn to Christ who alone is our hope in life and in death.

We also bring before the Lord what you have shared about the distressing sound, the painful memory, and what you saw outside. We ask God to grant you His peace, which is the mother of all good things and guards our hearts and minds. May He quiet what troubles you, cleanse your thoughts, renew your mind, and help you to fix your attention on what is pure and wholesome. If images or sounds continue to trouble you, bring them honestly to the Lord in prayer, ask Him for strength to turn away from what harms the soul, and seek fellowship and counsel in the church so you are not alone in this struggle.
