We join with you in bringing these requests before our Heavenly Father and we are encouraged by your heart for the salvation of others and your care for practical needs.

We lift up each person you have mentioned, both the men and women and all the people in their lives, asking that if any of them are in need of salvation that the Lord would draw them to Himself. It is God's desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9, and that all people be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4. We pray that God would open their eyes to their need for a Savior and open their hearts to receive Him.

We notice your prayer was addressed to the Heavenly Father but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. And Scripture tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To be saved we must believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, as Romans 10:9 teaches, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that each person you mentioned would hear the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, and that they would put their trust in Him alone. We also pray that you yourself know this assurance, that you have called upon the name of Jesus for salvation, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved in Romans 10:13.

We also bring before the Lord the practical need you mentioned for a mansion driveway to be repaired. We know that our Father cares about both our spiritual and our daily needs, and we ask Him to provide the resources, the skilled workers, and the favor needed for this repair to be done well and in His timing. We remember the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19, and we pray that this need would be met in a way that brings glory to Him and reminds all involved of His provision and stewardship. We pray also that those who use that driveway would be blessed and that it would be a place of safety and hospitality.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and saving grace to be poured out upon each individual lifted up here and upon all the people in their lives. Where there is unbelief, bring faith. Where there is darkness, bring the light of Your gospel. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, grant them repentance, and let them believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved as Acts 16:31 promises. We also ask for Your hand upon the driveway repair, provide what is needed and let Your will be done. Help us all to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness in Matthew 6:33, trusting that all these things will be added to us. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We appreciate you bringing these names before the Lord. It says a lot that your first concern is whether they know Jesus, and that you also bring a practical need like the driveway repair to Him. Both matter to God.

We join you in asking Him to draw each person you mentioned to Himself. Salvation is His gracious work in the heart, and He invites us to keep praying, to love people well, and to be ready to share the hope we have when He opens the door. If it helps, keeping their names where you will see them each day can be a simple way to remember them consistently before the Lord without carrying the weight alone.

For the driveway, we will pray for provision and for wisdom as you consider next steps, whether that is getting a trustworthy assessment or planning for the repair in a way that is manageable.

Father, we bring each person this friend has named to You, asking that You would draw them to know Jesus as Savior if they do not yet know Him, and that You would work in their lives according to Your mercy. We also ask for Your help with the driveway repair, for guidance and provision. We trust them to Your care in Jesus name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

There is much that is pleasing to the Lord in the prayer you have brought before us, for it is a great advance upon mere anxiety for our own souls when we are enlarged to care for the souls of others and to plead that they may be saved. Intercessory prayer is an act of communion with Christ, for He ever liveth to make intercession for us within the veil, and when we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with Him who made intercession for the transgressors.

We will join you in praying for those you have named, and for the women and the others connected with them, that if they are yet without Christ they may be brought to know Him. The gospel we preach is a free salvation, without money and without price. Scripture saith, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else. And again, With the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, for whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. There is no other way of salvation for any, whether rich or poor, learned or simple. All must come alike to Jesus, trusting alone in His precious blood and righteousness, for there is salvation in none other. He loved us and gave Himself for us, and to Him we must look by faith.

We will pray also concerning the temporal need you mention, the repair of the driveway. Our Father knoweth what things we have need of, and He who careth for the sparrow and heareth the cry of His children will provide for His people according to His wisdom and goodness. Yet we would have you keep the greater need ever first, for what shall it profit a man if he gain a well repaired estate and lose his own soul. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all needful things shall be added unto you.

Be encouraged to persevere in supplication. The Holy Spirit Himself helpeth our infirmities and maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Therefore we will wait upon the Lord and plead still. May the Lord give you grace to continue instant in prayer, and may it please Him to show mercy to each soul for whom you have entreated Him, bringing them to repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, to the praise of His glorious grace.

We commend you and all those for whom you pray to the keeping of our gracious God, beseeching Him to work salvation in every heart that yet knows Him not, and to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

[Chrysostom]

We thank you for bringing these requests to prayer, and we join with you in bringing them before our heavenly Father.

We pray first for what matters most, the salvation of souls. Scripture reminds us what it would profit a person to gain the whole world and yet lose his own soul, and that true salvation is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Jesus Christ alone is the way of salvation, and He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them. So we ask God to have mercy on each person you mentioned, the man you named, the women you named, and all the people in their lives. If any of them has not yet turned to Christ in repentance and faith, we pray that the Lord would open their eyes to their need, draw them to Himself, and grant them new life through Jesus alone. We pray that those who already know Him would be strengthened and kept firm in faith.

We also bring your practical need before the Lord, the repair of the ### driveway. God cares for our daily needs, and we ask Him to provide wisely and sufficiently for what is needed there, and to give you peace as you trust Him for provision.

May the Lord encourage you as you continue to pray for others, remembering that God desires all to come to repentance and that He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son. We will continue to pray with you that each soul you mentioned would come to know the comfort and salvation that is found only in Christ. Amen.
