We stand with you in this urgent cry for deliverance and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power and authority in His name alone. We rejoice that you invoked His name, because it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and set free. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We understand the reality of this spiritual battle. Your struggle is not imagined, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not fear, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We rebuke every demonic influence and every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19, and these signs will accompany those who believe, in my name they will cast out demons Mark 16:17. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We encourage you to submit fully to God in repentance and faith, to confess any known sin, to renounce any open door whether through occult involvement, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or music and media that glorifies darkness, and to remove those things from your life. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Then resist the devil firmly, for it is written Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Do not leave your heart empty after the enemy is cast out, but be filled with the Holy Spirit and with the Word of God and with worship that honors Him, so that your house is filled with His presence.

Concerning the title of a song you mentioned, we do not know what song you are seeking, but the Lord knows, and we ask Him to reveal it to you if it is for your good, and to remove any song from your mind that is tormenting or oppressing you. We encourage you to replace any worldly or oppressive music with worship and with psalms and hymns that lift up Jesus, for worship drives back darkness.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one who is seeking deliverance. We thank You that You hear our cry and that You desire to set the captives free. We ask You to forgive every sin, to cleanse by the blood of Jesus, and to break every chain and every demonic hold. In the name of Jesus Christ we command every unclean spirit to leave and to go where Jesus sends it and not to return. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, with Your power and love and self-control. Clothe this dear one with the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. Let Your Word dwell richly within, let worship fill the heart and home, and let no weapon formed against this life prosper. Reveal what needs to be revealed, including the song that is on this heart, and let all music and thoughts be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Surround this dear one with godly counsel and a Bible believing church family for ongoing prayer, discipleship and protection. We declare that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and we thank You for complete deliverance and lasting freedom in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. We hear your desire for freedom and to walk closely with Jesus, and we are grateful you brought it to the Lord so plainly.

Wanting deliverance can feel heavy and isolating, and you do not have to carry this alone. A steady next step that helps many people is to invite a trusted pastor or two mature believers from your local church to meet with you in person, listen to what you have been experiencing, and pray with you over time. Having others with you gives space for careful prayer, wisdom, and ongoing support as you seek the Lord together, rather than trying to sort through everything by yourself.

Continuing in the simple ways of staying near Jesus still matters too, regular prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship with believers who know you, even on days when you do not feel a quick change. We noticed you also mentioned the title of a song and we are not sure which one you mean, but God knows what is on your heart there and we trust Him to meet you in that as well.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your nearness, protection and peace over them. Where there is torment, confusion or heaviness, bring freedom through Jesus and draw them close to Yourself. Provide trusted people to walk with them, give wisdom for each next step, and help them sense Your care day by day. We place them in Your hands and ask for Your leading toward wholeness in Christ. Your prayer for deliverance has been heard, and there is hope for you in the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone has power over darkness and over the evil one.

The Scripture declares, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. No easy work and no hasty word of man can deliver a soul from spiritual bondage. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. You must be born again from above if you are to know true liberty, for there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.

Remember also that word, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and it is the gift of Divine Love. The prisoner ready to be executed receives undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it. None know freedom from sin but those who trust the atoning blood, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. Look then to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for He is gracious and has given commandment to save, and He will save you from yourself, from your old sins, and from the devil himself.

If you are under heavy assault, do not think your troubles spring out of the dust. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and that which comes from His hand bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. Yet He will keep back your soul from the Pit. Cry mightily to Him, confess your sin, forsake all trust in yourself, and rest wholly upon the finished work of Christ upon the cross. Seek the fellowship and counsel of faithful believers near you, that you may not walk alone in this conflict, and turn away from all that gives place to the enemy.

Concerning a song, you will find comfort in the Songs of Deliverance. When Barak was given victory, they sang of deliverance from the noise of archers, and so may you sing of deliverance from the archers of darkness. Take up such a hymn and declare the works of the Lord, for the believer's conduct after affliction and after deliverance is to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Let your song be of the ransom found and the blood that cleanses.

We now pray for you. O Lord our God, who has found a ransom and who alone can deliver from the power of darkness, look in mercy upon this soul who cries for deliverance. In the name and through the precious blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, command every evil influence to depart, break the chains of bondage, wash thoroughly from iniquity, and cleanse from sin. Deliver from going down to the Pit, keep back the soul from perishing, and translate this one into the kingdom of Thy dear Son. Give faith to lay hold on Christ, peace to rest in His finished work, and a new song of deliverance to declare Thy works. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it, Amen.
