We join you in lifting up these two places before our heavenly Father and we thank you for your heart that longs not only for physical safety but for eternal salvation for those who live there and for all the people connected to their lives.
We are reminded that true safety and refuge are found in the Lord. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 and Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6
We pray together for this need. Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and we ask for your mercy and protection over the two communities that were lifted up. We ask that you make them safer places to live, that you restrain violence and evil, that you give wisdom to those in authority and peace to families and neighbors there. We pray that you establish your peace which surpasses understanding over those streets and homes. We also cry out for salvation, for you desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 We ask that you draw to yourself everyone there who does not yet know you, that you open their eyes to their need for a Savior and open their hearts to believe that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We pray the same for every person in their lives, for friends, family members, coworkers and neighbors, that none would be left without hearing the good news of Jesus and that many would call upon his name and be saved. We ask that you raise up faithful witnesses in those places to share the gospel with gentleness and truth, and that you protect and encourage those who already believe. We trust you to work according to your perfect will and timing. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray faithfully for these places, even when you do not see immediate change. We are exhorted to offer petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Your prayers for both safety and salvation reflect the heart of God who is both our protector and our Savior, and we trust he hears and is at work even now.

We appreciate your love for the people in ### and ### and your desire to see those communities become safer and to see those who don't yet know Christ come to know Him. It is a beautiful thing to carry places and people before the Lord even when you may not see everything happening there day to day.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Beloved of All
Your prayer is heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show mercy to those places upon your heart and to all who dwell there.
We entreat our heavenly Father that He would make those places more safe for habitation, that He would restrain evil and cause peace to dwell there, for He careth even for the sparrow and much more for the souls of men made in His image. Yet above all we join you in the greater petition, that those who are yet without Christ may be saved. This is the burden which the Lord Himself lays upon His people, to pray for the common salvation which is freely proclaimed to all.
Remember what the Scripture saith, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. There is no other way of salvation, for salvation is of the Lord alone. It is not by works, nor by merit, nor by any other name, but by Divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The way is simple and plain, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust Him, to leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, to depend upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. He Himself is salvation, and to see Him by faith is to see salvation.
We pray therefore that the Lord in His sovereign mercy would visit those for whom you intercede, that He would open blind eyes to see the Saviour who stoops from the highest heaven to lift sinners from the mire, and that He would draw them to look unto Jesus and live. We pray also for those who are dear unto you, that if any among them be yet outside of Christ, the Lord would graciously bring them to repentance and faith, that household and friends alike may know the joy of His salvation.
May the Lord keep you in prayer and cause you to rejoice as you tell forth what He has done. We will continue to pray that His Word may run swiftly in those places and that many may be added to the number of those who love Him and trust Him alone for salvation.
