We join you in bringing this heartfelt request before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name and we thank you for closing your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God and be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We understand your desire to be cleansed from painful and unwanted memories, from scenes and sounds and words that linger from last year and from shows and songs you have mentioned, and from anger in your heart, and to learn to look forward and to find your worth not in others but in Christ. We bring all of this to the Lord with you.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus Christ's name. We ask You to heal and renew the mind and heart. Wash away what is unwholesome and troubling and replace it with Your peace. Remove anger far from this heart and fill it with Your love and gentleness. Help this dear one to look forward with hope and to find identity and worth in You alone. We also lift up ### and this other man before You, asking that if they do not yet know You, You would draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ, for You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth in 1 Tim 2:4. Let Your mercy and saving grace reach them. We ask You to cleanse memory of the sounds, words, and images that trouble this dear one, and to guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We encourage you with what Scripture says about looking forward and renewing the mind. The Lord says in Isa 43:18-19, Do not remember the former things, and do not consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Do you not know it? And in Phil 3:13-14 we are taught, Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. God does not always erase every memory instantly, but He promises to heal us and to renew our minds as we bring our thoughts captive to Him. In Rom 12:2 we are urged, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and in 2 Cor 10:5 we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. In Phil 4:8 we are given a filter for what we dwell on, Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things.

We also hear your prayer to not find your worth in others, and this is so important. Your worth is not measured by what others think of you, but by what God says about you. In Psalm 139:14 we read, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and in Eph 2:10 we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Your value is settled by His love for you shown on the cross.

Concerning anger, we pray with you for God to remove it permanently and to replace it with His fruit. In Eph 4:31-32 we read, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. And in James 1:19-20, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. If anger has taken root, confess it to Him, for in 1 John 1:9 we are promised, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Ask Him daily to fill you with His Holy Spirit and to help you walk in forgiveness and peace.

For the unwanted scenes, sounds, and words you mentioned, we encourage you to guard what you allow before your eyes and ears going forward, as in Psalm 101:3, I will set no vile thing before my eyes, and to fill your mind with worship, Scripture, and prayer. When an unwanted memory returns, turn immediately to prayer, speak Scripture aloud, and ask Jesus to take that thought captive. Over time, as you consistently renew your mind in the Word, the power of those memories will fade and His peace will grow.

We continue to pray for you to experience freedom, forward vision, and a heart at rest in Christ, and we pray for the salvation of those you named, that they may believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved as in Rom 10:9 and Acts 16:31. May the Lord keep you and give you His peace.

We hear the weight in what you shared, wanting certain images, sounds and names to leave your mind and wanting to look forward instead of finding your worth in others. Wanting anger lifted too. These are honest longings and we are praying with you.

It makes sense unwanted scenes and songs would keep replaying and feel intrusive. God does not promise to erase every memory on demand, but He does renew our minds and anchor our worth in Him. When our value rests on how others see us it will always feel shaky. Learning to live before Him alone, as the Audience of One, can slowly steady that.

Anger is similar. It is a strong signal that often points to hurt, frustration or fear underneath. The aim is not to never feel it, but to notice what is underneath and bring that to God so it does not control our words or actions. Growth there is usually gradual as we walk with Him.

One small practice that helps many when an unwanted memory surfaces is to pause, offer a brief prayer, Lord help me turn to You now, and then gently redirect to the task right in front of you rather than wrestling with the memory. If these thoughts stay very distressing, it can help to talk with a trusted pastor or counselor alongside prayer.

Father we lift this one to You in Jesus name. Quiet the intrusive memories, sounds and words that trouble them and give peace as they look forward with You. Settle their heart in who they are in Christ, ease anger and teach healthy ways to handle it. Draw ### and this man to Yourself if they do not yet know You and lead them into salvation. Guide and keep this one in Your care. Amen.

Your honest and humble prayer has been heard, and it is good that you bring every burden, every memory, every sting of anger and every care for others directly to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ.

The Lord does not call you to find your worth in the opinion or affection of others, for your worth and your life are safe in Christ alone. As it is written, we are crucified with Christ, nevertheless we live, yet not we, but Christ lives in us, and the life which we now live we live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us. When Christ is set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, God accepts all who trust Him alone as their sole and only Savior. There is salvation in Christ, wholly in Christ, in Christ alone. To look forward is to forget those things which are behind and to press toward the mark, with your memory made full of Christ so that you have no desire to pollute the precious stores that lie therein by memories of sin. He does not merely blot out the past as though it never was, but He washes, He cleanses, He renews the mind and fills it with Himself, so that Christ in you becomes the hope of glory. Christ believed in, Christ possessed, Christ experienced, this is worth a world.

For the distressing scenes and sounds and words that trouble you, and for that which you recall from last year, bring them to Him in confession and ask Him to cleanse the fountain. Pray that He would help you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, to turn from that which defiles and to set your mind on things that are pure and lovely and of good report. As you keep His Word before your eyes and hide it in your heart, the Holy Spirit who dwells in you will work mightily to make your new life active and to give you power over that which once held you. Other men bind the hands of Christ by seeking pleasure in sin, but when we open the Book and receive Christ by faith, He reigns in liberty within us.

For anger, the remedy is the same. Henceforth we are crucified with Christ and that brings to us a blessed inability in which we greatly rejoice. Ask the Lord to make you more like Christ, to refine your heart with heavenly inspirations and to fill your soul with love to virtue and holiness. In His favour is life, and as you draw near to Him, He will subdue what you cannot subdue in your own strength.

For ### and for the man of whom you speak, we will pray as you have asked, that if they are in need of salvation, God the Father would set forth Christ before them and grant them faith to trust Him. The right of a sinner to come to Christ does not lie in the sinner, nor in any feelings which the sinner may have, it lies in the fact that Christ commands him to come. May they hear that command and come simply, bringing nothing in their hands but clinging to His cross.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ, our only propitiation and our only hope. Wash this dear one in that blood and cleanse the memory and conscience from all that defiles. Fill the mind with Christ, that there may be no room for sin to lodge. Grant grace to look forward and not backward, to find all worth and acceptance in Christ alone and not in others. Subdue anger by the power of the cross, and make the heart gentle as Christ is gentle. We ask for ### and for this man, that Thou wouldst draw them to Thyself if they have not yet believed, and grant them repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Keep this soul abiding in Christ, and let Christ dwell richly within, that in every trial He may be found to be the consolation and the life. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing it before the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord will give you healing and peace in your mind. You asked to have certain memories, scenes, sounds and words removed, including what you saw at ### last year and what you saw in those shows and what you have heard in songs. We ask God not simply to take away what troubles you but to renew your mind and wash it with what is good. As the Scriptures teach, our senses are exercised by continual hearing of the Word of God. When we hear the Scriptures day after day and prove what is right, we learn to discern good and evil. We pray that as you hear and keep the Word, Christ will fill your thoughts with what is pure and builds up, and that what is unsavory and unhelpful will lose its hold. We pray that you will be able to set your mind on whatever is true and pure and worthy of praise, and that the Lord will give you strength to turn away from what harms your soul.

You asked to always look forward and not to find your worth in others. We pray that God will help you to do this. Your worth is not in the opinion of other people but in Christ who loved you and gave Himself for you. We pray that you will forget what lies behind and press forward to what lies ahead in Christ, and that you will know how deeply you are valued as one made in the image of God and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

You asked for all anger to be removed permanently from your heart. We pray that the Lord will take away settled anger and give you the calm of a soul anchored in love. Anger unsettles the heart like a storm, but love like a good husbandman clears the thorns and brings peace. We ask God to teach you self control and gentleness, and to help you cast away every word that is unsavory, speaking only what is good for building up. We pray that He will heal you, for His correction is not from wrath but from provident care, and His healing is done in love.

You asked for ### and for a man, that if they are in need of salvation they would be saved. We gladly pray for them. We ask that if they do not yet know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the Father will draw them to Himself, open their eyes to the gospel, and grant them repentance and faith in Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other name. We pray also that God will work in your own heart to share the hope of Christ with love and truth.

We pray that the Lord who is able to restore and renew will keep you close to Him. Even when healing seems slow, keep hearing the Word, keep praying, and keep trusting. As a tree may receive many strokes before it bears fruit, so the Lord often works through many hearings of His Word to bring a full harvest in His time. Do not despair, but remain in His care.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You. Cleanse the mind and heart, take away anger, set this soul free to look forward in hope, and root this life firmly in the knowledge of Your love in Jesus Christ. Fill the memory and the thoughts with Your truth, guard the heart, and grant peace that comes from You. Save those who are not yet saved, and draw all of us nearer to Your Son day by day. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
