We join you in this prayer and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that we are saved.
We hear your heart in two parts, first a loving intercession for the salvation of this woman, and second a cry for peace and freedom in your own mind and memory. Both are pleasing to God.
We affirm your prayer for her salvation, for this aligns perfectly with the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. The Lord is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We do not know the state of her soul, but God does, and He desires that none be lost, Ezekiel 18:23. So we agree with you and we will continue to lift her, her husband, her children, her sisters and her father before the throne, that if any of them have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit would draw them, open their eyes, and grant them repentance and faith.
We also hear your request for God to remove them and their names from your memory. We understand this comes from a place of pain or perhaps a struggle with thoughts that you do not want to dwell on. We want to gently encourage you that God's way is not always to erase our memory as if an event never happened, but to heal our hearts, renew our minds, and bring His peace to guard our thoughts. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.
Instead of asking only to forget, we encourage you to ask the Lord to cleanse and renew your mind, to help you take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Romans 12:2. The Lord says do not remember the former things, and do not consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Isaiah 43:18-19. This is not a command to pretend the past did not happen, but to release its hold on you so Christ can make your thoughts new and whole.
If there has been any fixation, resentment, or hurt toward this family, we encourage you to release them fully to the Lord in forgiveness, even as Christ forgave us, Ephesians 4:32. Forgiveness does not mean the memory vanishes instantly, but that its power to cause pain is broken.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this woman and her entire household to You. If she or any of her family do not yet know You as Savior, we ask that You would have mercy on them, draw them by Your Spirit, and grant them salvation through faith in Jesus who died and rose again. Let Your grace be poured out upon them.
And Father, we lift up the one who submitted this request. Lord, You see the burden on their mind and heart. We ask that You would heal their thoughts and grant them Your perfect peace. Wash their mind with Your Word, renew them day by day, and help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report, Philippians 4:8. Remove any torment, obsession or pain associated with these names and faces, and replace it with Your rest and wholeness. Help them to forgive, to release, and to walk in freedom.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.
We thank God that you have a heart to intercede for another soul, for intercessory prayer is communion with Christ Himself, who ever lives to make intercession for transgressors. To pray for the salvation of another is a work that rises higher than any petition for ourselves, and it shows a care that has moved beyond anxious thought for self into love for a brother or sister. We will pray with you that the one you have named, if she has not yet looked to Christ, may be brought to Him. There is no salvation to be obtained from priests, or forms and ceremonies, nor from any other name under heaven. There is one way of salvation for all, and that is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. As the prophet cried, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else. We pray that she, and all who are dear to you, may hear that gracious invitation and come to Jesus, trusting alone in His precious blood, for he that believes in a moment receives salvation in full.
Concerning the heaviness that presses upon your own mind, and your desire that certain names and memories might be removed from you, we would point you to the tender and wise thoughts of God toward His people. His thoughts concerning us are constant and kind and infinitely wise, and His ways are higher than our ways as the heavens are higher than the earth. Where shall we go from His Spirit, the Psalmist asks, for He knows our thoughts afar off and He understands our frame. He need not merely hear our thoughts, for His thoughts become acts, and to will with Him is to do.
We cannot by our own anxious thinking lift this burden from ourselves, nor can we by mere resolve blot out what troubles us. But God can give that perfect peace and joyous confidence which our deepest thoughts can never achieve. The Holy Spirit Himself helps our infirmities and maketh intercession for us according to the will of God, and when we know not what to pray for as we ought, He pleads within us. Bring then your distressed thoughts to the Lord and wait upon Him, for He is able to keep your mind stayed upon Himself and to sanctify your memory, that you may be still with Him when you awake and when you lie down.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst look in mercy upon the soul named in this petition. If she be yet without Thee, grant her repentance and faith, that she may look unto Jesus and be saved, for there is salvation in none other. We agree with you in asking that God would save her if she is in need of salvation, for there is salvation in no one else but Jesus Christ alone. He came to bring reconciliation between heaven and earth, and He desires all to come to repentance and faith in Him. We pray that if she does not yet know Him, the Lord in His mercy would draw her to Himself, open her eyes to the truth of the gospel, and grant her new life in Christ. We also pray for you, that God would strengthen your own faith and keep you firm in Him.
You also asked that the Lord would remove this family from your memory and take away the burden of their names. We understand the weariness that comes when thoughts return again and again and disturb the heart. Scripture teaches that the peace of God is meant to rule in our hearts like an umpire when two thoughts are wrestling within us, one toward anger or hurt and the other toward endurance and grace. That peace is steady because it comes not from man but from God Himself, who made peace with us through Christ while we were still far off.
We pray that God would give you that peace which surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. This does not mean holding on to bitterness or seeking to avenge, but letting His peace take the prize and put aside resentment. Peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and those who make peace are called sons of God because they follow the Son of God who came to make peace. We pray the Lord would heal your memory and your thoughts, not with a spirit of hatred, but with quietness and wholeness, so that you may follow peace with all people and holiness, and be free to fix your mind on Christ.
