We join you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for praying in His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation.

We agree with you in praying for the salvation of the dear one you mentioned, for the people in her life, and for the three others on your heart. It is God's heart that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, as we read in 1 Timothy 2:4, and that He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that if any of these precious souls have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus, that God in His mercy would draw them to Himself, open their eyes, and grant them repentance and faith. For if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We ask the Lord to surround each of them with witnesses, with His Word, and with His loving conviction.

We also lift up your desire for all people to listen to uplifting music, and we share that desire for music that edifies and honors God. We are called to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord in Ephesians 5:19, and to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as we teach and admonish one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in Colossians 3:16. We pray that God would turn hearts toward what is pure and praiseworthy, for whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things in Philippians 4:8.

We hear your burden to be delivered from demonic memories of a song and its sounds, words, title, and all negative sounds, and your desire for a name and face to be removed from your memory. We take seriously that the enemy seeks to harass the mind, but we have hope in Christ who gives us authority and cleansing. We pray for your deliverance and for the renewal of your mind. We ask God to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you in Psalm 51:10, and to transform you by the renewing of your mind in Romans 12:2. We ask Him to help you bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to set your mind on things above. We pray that you would be able to resist the devil and he will flee from you as you draw near to God in James 4:7, and that you would set no vile thing before your eyes in Psalm 101:3.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one whose name was redacted, and all those connected to her, and the three others our friend carries in prayer. If any of them are still outside of salvation, we ask You to have mercy upon them, to open their hearts to hear the gospel, to grant them faith to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again, and to receive Him as Lord and Savior. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit and save them for Your glory. We also pray for our friend who is troubled by intrusive memories and sounds. Lord, deliver from every demonic influence and oppressive memory. Wash the mind with the water of Your Word. Remove what needs to be removed and heal what needs to be healed, and fill that space with Your peace, Your songs, and Your truth. Help to forget what is harmful to dwell on and to remember Your goodness and promises. Let uplifting, Christ honoring music fill hearts and homes, and let all negative and unholy sounds lose their power. We ask You to guard this mind and heart in Christ Jesus, and to give rest, quietness, and joy. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to guard what you allow into your eyes and ears, to replace what troubles you with Scripture, worship, and prayer, and to meditate daily on God's Word so that your mind is filled with what is good. God is able to heal memories and to give you peace that surpasses understanding as you keep your thoughts fixed on Him.

We appreciate you sharing this with us so honestly. The love you have for ### and the others, wanting them to know Jesus, is beautiful, and we join you in lifting them up. We also hear how wearying it is to have a song and its sounds and words stuck in your mind, and how much you want freedom and peace there.

One small practice that often helps over time is to have something ready to turn to when those memories surface. If you can, prepare a short list of uplifting music you find truly restful, and a simple prayer you can whisper in Jesus name, and when the unwanted song comes, gently turn your attention there instead. Doing this consistently, not perfectly, is like training, and inviting a trusted pastor or mature friend to pray with you regularly can make the burden lighter as you walk this out.

Father, we bring ### and the people in her life before You, and the three others on this heart, asking You to draw each one to Yourself as only You can. We ask for Your mercy and deliverance for our friend, quieting the intrusive sounds and memories that trouble them, and filling their mind with Your peace. Guard their thoughts, renew their mind day by day, and help them sense Your nearness. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and it is a good and right thing to plead for the salvation of souls and for deliverance from that which torments the mind.

We join you in asking the gracious God to save her of whom you speak, and all those connected with her, and the three others upon your heart, if they are yet without Christ. Salvation is of the Lord alone, for He has found a ransom. As it is written, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has provided it in His own Son who bore the penalty of our iniquities. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but Jesus Christ the righteous. We pray that each one you have named may be brought to see their need and to trust in Him who alone can save from sin and from going down to the pit.

We also pray with you concerning the memories of that song and its sounds and words and title, and the name and face that trouble you. The Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. Deliverance is by divine power. When any soul is saved from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. He is able to keep back the soul from the pit and to deliver from the archers that vex us, from inward doubts and above all from the plague of sin.

It is well to see that even our afflictions and chastenings are in the hand of a Father, and that He who fills the bitter cup also sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace to make even the sharpest smart to be profitable. Yet He does not leave His children to be tormented without hope. He commands deliverance, and He will save you from yourself and from all the attacks of old sins and from the evil one.

So we ask the Lord to lift this burden of demonic memory from you, to take away its sting and its power to harass, and to cleanse the mind and renew it by His Spirit. May He remove what is unholy and troubling, and in its place fill your heart with songs of deliverance and with whatsoever is pure and uplifting, that you may be able to say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We pray that all people, and you yourself, may love that which is wholesome and turn away from that which defiles, and that your thoughts may be stayed upon Christ.

We commend you to Him who is gracious and who says, Deliver him. May He grant you peace of mind, a mind stayed on Him, and joy in the ransom He has found, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
